Quality Inn

New hotel with nice rooms and a great rate! The check in process was smooth and only took a couple of minutes. Be prepared to leave a $ 40 cash deposit. That wasn’t mentioned when I booked it. The room was probably one of the smallest I have stayed in. But it was new and everything was clean. No bugs or anything and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in! We parked on the street for 3 days and the car was in the same condition we left it. Their hotel parking is minimal but there is plenty of street parking. Everything with the hotel was top notch.
During the day we went and picked up a few necessities on Pitkin Ave, the local shopping area. They have all kinds of shops and restaurants. We had no issues while walking around. We walked to a train station to avoid the bus and that was about a 10 minute walk. Once again, no issues. We did take a tax back at night just because it was late.
This is a working class neighborhood. If you are a tourist looking to stay in the tourist part of the city then this isn’t it. But if you are willing to take a 45 min train ride to the city then I highly recommend it. We walked with a backpack so we didn’t have to keep coming and going.
