i love how close I live to this place. I’ve only gotten 2 items. charcoal, and rib eye steak. their steaks are giant. dont let the window fool you. the steak is pretty much swimming in an inch of marinade and one weighs almost 2pounds, which brings you to about 24 dollars a steak, which frankly is a great buy. it can probably feed 2 people and the quality has been consistent both times I got it. meat is tender and flavorful. who’s gonna complain about a thick rib eye steak? medium rare is delicious. they also give you a spicy sauce on the side which is pretty good with the meat as well. thank goodness there’s a place on Ave U that sells good meat!

This is not your typical meat market, this place is strictly for shish-kebabs. If you’re serious about skewered meat, like most Russian people are, then is the best place hands down. Essentially this is a marinated, uncooked, grill-ready meat store. I have some insider info about the owner, he’s been perfecting these marinades throughout his lifetime and he’s gotten these recipes just right. Some of my favorites are the lamb ribs, boneless pork kebab, baby pork ribs, and the beef short ribs. They also have whole marinated chicken in pomegranate juice, skirt steak, rib-eye steak, chicken wings, lamb chops and other tasty meaty items. You must get the spicy sauce which is the best dipping accompaniment for the finished product(usually complimentary if you spend $ 20 or more). My recommended cooking technique is to cook them skewered over natural wood(your choice) for the best results but plain grilling them also gives you a tasty result.
