The food at this branch is pretty good. The location is also very convenient because you can get your shopping done etc. the service could be better. Our server got a D for service. He brought us our drinks and salad and disappeared for 47 minutes. I asked another server if she had seen him because I wanted another drink etc. A few minutes later he came running to our table. He apologized and said they had him helping out in the kitchen. Our food came a few minutes later and by the time I was ready to leave. My main gripe about this place is the patrons. My bf and I got there on Monday about 6:30 and it was packed. I’m like wtf? Does anyone around here work? This place is patronized mainly by the folks who live in the starret city and pink houses projects. I asked my bf jokingly if red lobster takes food stamps because I could not believe how many ghetto people were waiting to dine. We get inside to put our name on the wait list. I look back for a seat in the waiting area, as I’m heading towards it an obese man plops his ass down. Mind you I’m 9 months pregnant. So we go outside to sit on the benches. There’s 2 obese kids hawking candy for $ 1. We declined to buy. Once again there is an obese man sitting on the bench next to us. He whips out a cigarette as long as his arm and begins to smoke. Another adult totally not giving a damn about the fact that I’m very pregnant. Smdh. I like the food but can’t stand to be around ghetto, classless people who behave like they’re always in the gutter. I would have given 4 stars but the caliber of people who eat here takes the restaurant down a notch.

This restaurant’s service is ridiculous. We came for lunch and the service is so bad and slow we weren’t fed until an hour later, when they came out w giant fatty steamed oysters that were gross. Waited and waited I guess your best best is a seat by the bar. And ordering something simple.

This is pretty much the only red lobster that’s near me. I love it because of the food. Every time I come here, the food, especially the lobster, is delicious. Lobsters are my sinful pleasure. I just love seafood! This place is always crowded though! Which I guess is to be expected since like I mentioned before, this is the only Red Lobster in the area. It can be hard to find parking right next to the restaurant but there is plenty of parking nearby since this is the gateway shopping center. The wait can be brutally long if you come here anytime on the weekend. We were told we would wait 45 minutes and it took about an hour +. My feet were killing me by the time we got seated. The waiting area is also very small so expect to get bumped and pushed! The staff is friendly for the most part. The server I had was attentive and the service was fast. I had the half size Shrimp Linguini Alfredo and a side order of the roasted lobster Tail. Both were delicious. I also had the Mango mai Tai which is the best drink I’ve had at Red Lobster. My total meal came out to $ 33 with tax. Going there recently made me realize how much I love seafood and how much I am already dying to go back! I will be back soon! :) I recommend this place. Just be prepared to wait!

Last time I was in Red Lobster, I asked the Lobster Man working if I could bring my stepson Thork into the back room so he could learn where lobsters come from. The Lobster Man said sure, and put him on his shoulders and took him to the lobster vault. Well, guess who got pinched by a lobster? Thork. My question is, are lobsters poisonish, or are they OK? Thork seems pretty sick, but he always is like that so I keep telling his mom it’s not a big deal, or if it is a big deal, that we still shouldn’t care.

The service was great. The food was very disappointing. I got the lobster trio, and every tail was rubbery as hell, the lobster mac and cheese was okay but everything else bleh. I gave it three stars for the service and biscuits haha.

When will I learn? Each and every time I am in this specific establishment there’s always a fight. If you must hit this red lobster please come prepared to defend yourself.

IFYOUHAVENEVERBEENTOREDLOBSTERYOUNEEDTOGO! Today was my first time going and it was amazing. The cheddar bay biscuits are so good I ate an entire bread basket by myself. The waitress was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us all the deals of the week specifically for Lobster Fest. We ordered shrimp cocktail for the table and the shrimps were huge and also in an adorable margarita glass that I wanted to bring home. I ordered a mixed pot including linguine in a wine sauce, clams, mussels, scallops, and THREE lobster tails(sorry I don’t remember the title). I would rate my experience as a 5 but I also feel like since its a fast food place it doesn’t deserve it. I had a great time with good friends in a fun environment.

STOPEATINGHERE! BADFOODBADSERVICE! $AVEYOURMONEY!!! Terrible food, terrible service, and staff that is disgusting. Ordered several times from this place, each time worse then the last. The girl Carolina who takes your order, is a disrespectful, ignorant young girl who is supposedly taking your order, but she’s really texting her boo, mean while shes either not actually taking your order, getting paid $ 10hr while playing around with you food, or just losing your order in general. Next is the dumb and dumber duo of the supposed Manager(younger dark skin lady, short hair, accent no people skills, trust me you’ll know who she is when she starts to talk) and the kitchen Manager who serves and oversees this terrible food his kitchen produces. They will never get your order right, no matter of you dine in or eat out! My last order, like the others before was wrong, incomplete, cold, and all around terrible. Then when you complain to the socially deprived woman of a manager to fix your order, and you get excuses and the feeling that you did something wrong, like they are doing you a favor! GTFOH! This place has the attitude that Brooklyn needs them, YOUCANKEEPYOURBISCUITS! They take our money, and it’s not pennies, for terrible service and bad attitude. Don’t not eat or order from here, you will only be disappointed, with no resolution. I recommend the lobster place on Flatbush by toys r us, or the seafood spot on Knapp st, same price, better menu, fresher food. I will never eat here again, I truly hope karma bites this place in the ass.

At last, I finally got to try Red Lobster, perhaps I have been living under a rock all these years. Anyway, I came here to have a big birthday feast for my boyfriend who is a seafood lover and the wait time to be seated was no longer then 15 minutes [then again I came here early at 6:30 on a weeknight so I didn’t expect it to be hectic]. Finding parking was pretty easy and the hostess was really friendly. The way the restaurant was laid out was really nice, you have the front of the house with the hot oven & salad bar and kitchen, and then towards the bathroom you have a huge round bar that can seat up to 50 people with flat screen TVs, and then behind the bar and in 2 other sections are booths and large tables for huge groups of people, ultimately this place is ideal for family dining. In addition Red Lobster has a separate section for take out only, that is totally genius! Of course the first thing I ordered when I got here was in the famous cheddar biscuits, it comes in a basket of 5 and is complimentary; they were hot, flaky and cheesy with a hint of garlic, frickin amazing. Originally when I visited the website before hand to check out the menu, I noticed there was a fresh catch club deal which gives you a free appetizer and perks. I didn’t have any luck doing it in on the go so I was hoping the waitress would be able to sign us up, but it turns out she didn’t know crap about this promotion and she claimed she would ask the manager but she totally forgot about it. Shouldn’t all their employees know their specials and promotions off hand?! Another problem I noticed was that the menu was hard to follow and very disorganized. Like there was a separate book with cocktails drinks and appetizers, and then the main menu lists some of the same items too so which one do I follow? I also couldn’t find a section for chicken & steak options which is clearly on the website but nowhere to be found on the menu. The waitress was puzzled when I brought this to her attention and as a person who isn’t a huge seafood lover this was important to me. She luckily knew some options by heart like maple glazed chicken or chicken with pasta and Alfredo sauce or 7 and 12 oz. steak with 2 sides, but again I found this to be very limited. I was tempted to try the 4 course feast for 18 dollars a person which comes with a soup, salad, one entrée and dessert, and unlimited rounds of biscuits but I found that the options to choose from were very limited. For starters my boyfriend had the clam chowder soup, which to him was small and not very filling, it barely had any clam pieces or potatoes in it, he said the Campbell’s can tasted better, yikes [plus there was a fee to choose this soup because it wasn’t included in his seafood feast meal]. We tried the lobster sunset cocktails which were strong, tropical, not too sweet and it has a glass you can take home for only 9 bucks a drink, I LOVED this drink, it reminded me of the islands. They also had other great options with tequila, wine, beer, frozen drinks, it was probably my favorite thing about the restaurant. The fried calamari with vegetables was huge for 10 dollars and the veggies were fresh and well seasoned, I liked how the breading didn’t fall off the calamari, but the pieces themselves were very tiny and they didn’t give you enough marinara sauce for such a big plate. My boyfriends plate for 30 dollars came with lobster tail with garlic and butter on the side, crab legs, fried shrimp and shrimp with garlic and oil, AND2 sides. You really do get a great amount of food for a good price, everything looked fresh with a great presentation. My 7 ounce steak with two sides was mediocre, I ordered a strip and there was a lot of fat on it, but it was done medium which is exactly how I like it, so at least it was juicy. My side of mashed potatoes was tasty and thick, but the corn on the cob was overdone and dry since it is grilled, I think it was a fail. It also came with a garden salad with a good amount of dressings to choose from and it was a great portion. However for almost 25 dollars I have tasted way better steak then that. The service itself was a bit slow, it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks at the bar, over a half hour for the appetizer and over 45 minutes for the entrees. I understand that some items need more time to cook, but with such a large amount of staff I wouldn’t expect service to be that slow. I saved my boyfriend the embarrassment of having a birthday song from the restaurant with a brownie, but honestly we were so full that we wouldn’t be able to stomach it anyway. The dessert menu was very nice as far as options, they have key lime pie, cheesecake, lava cake, a lava cookie, a slide of apple pie and a hot brownie. Oh and the bathroom wasn’t too dirty and had at least 4 stalls so the line wasn’t that bad, but the fact that not all sinks had soap in them sucks! I would come back here but there is room for improvement.

The wait times here are LONG, but we went on Sunday at like 4 so it was«only» a 40 minute wait. I got the new grande feast which is a play on the ultimate feast… Wasn’t really feeling the pico de gallo scampi shrimp, could’ve done without it. The stuffed lobster stuffing was also okay, but the lobster, crap and shrimp themselves all tastes great! Since last time I went to red lobster they cooked their fried shrimp differently and it’s AMAZING! Reminds me of how Friday’s do theirs, they were so tender. The main disappointment on my plate was the French fries… They’re usually never good at RL. But considering all the seafood was so flavorful and delish, I would still say that’s a win.

Seriously can I give this negative zero because this establishment either needs to 1) retrain the culinary staff and/or 2) just shut down. Never mind the fact it’s dingy and filthy there are just a plethora of mishaps and wrongdoings in this place. I will say the server, John Michael was excellent and tried to right every wrong. The culinary manager was also very apologetic and attempted to correct certain errors but it was just too much. As follows: 1– dirty lemons(other particles of food/seasonings) were on the lemon rind — which probably means the prep area where they were cut wasn’t wiped/washed before placing another item on it; 2– if I order a patron margarita I want patron in it. Not a substitute. Not water. I want PATRON; 3– fried calamari platter — drain the grease before plating and serving. I don’t find a platter saturated with grease appetizing; 4– you can’t provide clean utensils give me plastic ones; 5– if I order asparagus don’t give me long beans/string beans. And for future reference, wash and cook the string beans before serving them; 6– I should not be able to injure someone with my shrimp because they are so hard. I can keep going but I will be here all night. This establishment is just a disaster. With the exception of a few, the staff is less than desirable. This shit hole needs to be shut down.

Me and my boyfriend frequent this place almost every week and on some occasions twice a week. It’s close, the food is good and we have yet to meet a staff member that was rude to us. After all who doesn’t love Red lobster? Being said, if you come on the weekends you have to prepare yourself for a wait because of its popularity. I don’t understand how people can give a bad review because they had to wait. Like really?.. get it together people. I went last week and tried out their new bourbon shrimp and scallop screwers-AMAZING! Definitely a must try. I’ll definitely see you guys this weekend!

Delicious food had a great time however the lobster was oversalted. It’s a little far from the stores but on a nice day it makes for a great walk. The drinks are good but they do need to bring the salt levels down. I would probably go there again but they really need to hire more people for the weekends. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the wait was crazy. There was a huge crowd in the waiting area and outside yet when I went inside there were so many empty tables to choose from.

Uh why do I keep coming back here. It feels like every time I forget how bad this place is I come back and learn my lesson all over again. The wait is always ridiculous, I think we waited 50 minutes this time. Honestly the only reason I gave this place 3 stars and not 1 is because of their biscuits and the lobster bisque. The biscuits are always hot and fresh and the soup is very hearty and filling. We came here during the endless shrimp promo and it’s never a good time. The shrimp options were mostly gross but you really can’t expect better for $ 17.99. The service was awful as usual. Had to ask for a refill of my drink 3 times and a refill of the biscuits twice. I never get my hopes up for this place but it usually disappoints even then. All I can say is expect to wait and don’t hope for the best cause you won’t find it here.

The food was delicious as Red Lobster always is. The atmosphere was nice but honestly it was a little noisy but it was also crowded. We waited about twenty minutes for a table which I guess isn’t bad for Sunday on Labor Day Weekend. I think Red Lobster is a little pricey personally. But I guess that’s what you pay for that quality seafood. But if I was paying I would have gone some place else and probably just not have chosen to have seafood. Though the lunch menu is always a cheaper alternative for basically the same thing except with smaller portions.(On most dishes) BTW on portion size it was too much for me to eat. I couldn’t finish it all so the portions are generous. Guess it’s a good place to go if your Muslim and you are looking for Halal food at a secular restaurant. My date offered to take me to Olive Garden as another choice but not much Halal there more at Red Lobster. I just saw other reviews on this restaurant and I noticed people said the service was bad. I am editing this review to add the service WAS excellent, quick and courteous.

I have tried this establishment on two separate occasions and BOTH times the service(if you can call it that) was very bad. I don’t know where the waiters and waitresses hide, but both times that I have dined at this location I had to get another server to track down my server for water, butter, crab cracker, more biscuits for our party, and hand wipes. The food was okay, but I will NOT be going there again! Some of it was cold, and the cocktails tasted like fruit juice. When I mentioned this to my server he seemed uninterested in correcting it. However, I heard him tell the man at the next table to order extra alcohol in the drink. If I wanted juice, I would have ordered juice. I had seniors visiting from out-of-town and they wanted to eat at Red Lobsters. I was hoping my second trip would be good, but it was not. Our waiter Jimi only became attentive when it was time for us to leave, I suspect trying to get a good tip for poor service. Lastly, I do not appreciate the young men that are selling home-made DVDs in the parking lot of the restaurant. The only do it in front of Red Lobster. I do not appreciate the aggressive technique.

I mean red lobsters food can sell itself. The reviews here are mainly about the service. I really wish I remembered my servers name because she was great. The run down: Drinks are nice and strong. I had a Long Island and only needed one drink the entire night. I drink a lot :/. So if I say it was strong take my word for it. I had a combo platter which I substituted pasta for potatoes with no issues from the kitchen. It’s crab fest and my dates crab legs were delicious. Red lobster is almost becoming comfort food. As Brooklyn struggles with good service, this red lobster delivers. Tip: Call ahead and put your name down on the wait list. It was a Friday night and we were seated within 5 minutes. If you know red lobster then you would understand that this rarely happens. All in all I would definitely go back.

I mean who doesnt love red lobster despite it being a chain resturaunt?! Came here with the beau last night since we were both bored and didnt feel like traveling to manhattan. Came here at 10 abd only a 5 min wait period. We were seated promptly abd ordered our drinks which also came put quickly. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms abd crab cake for appetizer which was ok. I can skip it next time. Crab cake with the sauce was amazing but he didnt like the sauce cus hes lame. We then ordered off the crab fest nenu and got a HUGE order of alaskan crab legs, king crab legs and crab alfredo linguini with a side of mashed potatoes. I couldbt even eat all of it we had to take so much food to go hone back with.

The lines can be a bit ridiculous. The Police Officer is a reminder things can go poorly fast. The food is always hot and it taste great. The servers are usually very polite and they will try to make sure your experience is pleasant. 4 stars because they make you wait so long to eat when your in big groups.
