I’ve been to this place three times and I must say their drinks and hookah is pretty good, but I’m giving three stars because today I spent $ 118 dollars and this couple who were next to me spent less who happen to be Caucasian happen to get free shots before they left, so I will say this place cater to their own. Will I come back? Probably not after witnessing that.

The place is nice but service is really suck. Ive been waiting forever for my order and the waitress didn’t even know that my order came or not. And she didn’t even say sorry for lateness or anything. just rude.

I really enjoyed one of two hookahs we ordered. I did not order any food. The bar drinks really suck! They could of been better. Our waitress was really rude and left us waiting a ridiculously long time before bringing 1 of three drinks ordered. My suggestion if you are thirsty stick to a closed bottle of water.

I came here on a Friday night because I was in the mood for cocktails and my friend wanted hookah, it was my first time at a hookah bar I liked it. The drinks could have been better, I’ve had mojito a at a lot of places and this was slightly below average in my opinion, their Malibu bay breeze is slightly better than their mojitos but nothing to write home about. The waitress was really nice and super attentive, gave my friend recommendations for hookah and the place was cozy. We got seated on the outdoor section of the hookah bar and the music was great, I prefer songs like this instead of edm. The food was okay, we ordered calimari and fries and they were good. Took off one star for the slightly below average drinks. Overall if you live in Brooklyn and wanted a spot to just hang out and catch up with friends, hookah and enjoy good music I would definitely recommend this place, however don’t come here having high expectations for cocktails.

This place is a solid 4 stars except for one thing. Drinks were good and vibe was good. HOWEVER, we were a party of two and you automatically added an 18% service charge? That’s absurd. I can only imagine people drunker than us unwittingly paying the service charge as well as a tip on top of that. Lame move, Red Oak, lame move.

The hookah tasted burned and didn’t pull. We kept having to ask a million times for it to be fixed. The place is nothing special. The food is regular bar food. Nothing here to get excited about. At all. It was okay but I wouldn’t come back for hookah because it’s just a waste of time. It’s simply not good here. I haven’t been to one in ages and this doesn’t make me want to go again.

Been to a few hookah lounges in Bay Ridge and I have to say this is my favorite one. They have a nice back patio area which is where I prefer sitting. Don’t worry about being cold in the winter months, they have heat lamps. Service is good, which is nice to see especially since this place can get quite packed and busy. The waitresses are always nice and charismatic. Food is typical, but it hits the spot. They have a selection between typical bar food, wraps, salads, and kebabs which makes it good for large groups with different taste palates. Drinks are not bad at all! They’re not watered down which is difficult to come across nowadays. Hookah is great, as per my friends since I’m not a hookah lover. They have various options which can be served in fruit bowls and ice hoses. I have noticed that sometimes they don’t have some flavours available which can be a bummer.

I came here on a Friday night which was actually New Year’s Day figuring it wouldn’t be too crazy and with it being cold out and having a craving for hookah, decided to stop by. I came with a regular visitor who seemed to know all the other regulars in the place. First off the place is easy to find, street parking. When you walk in, there are small tables to the right and a counter to the left. The place felt super small yet cozy in the front, the place was full but not super packed. We decided to sit«outside» which was a covered patio with a large tv through a narrow hallway. I was a bit skeptical of how warm it would be but it was actually nice and definitely more space in the back. Near the wall it got cold, I mean it was about 40 degrees outside but other than that, no real complaints. Until some guy sat down at the table behind me and kept bumping his chair into mine. Just goes to speak on the small-ness of the place. Now on to the hookah. I love hookah in fruit heads and they offer grapefruit, watermelon, and pineapple. You can also get milk or alcohol, as well as a mix of flavors. I tried the orange mint in a grapefruit head which was pretty smooth with just a hint of mint, certainly not overwhelming like some places. There was someone coming around for most of the night replacing the coals which I like, but then he just disappeared when most of the back area cleared out. So pretty much our coals were dead before he came back but still, the hookah had a good flavor. I would definitely come here again for hookah. I think the pricing is a little bit expensive for the fruit head but hey, still worth a try. The drink menu is relatively small, they have a bunch of beers as well as cocktails. They also have a food menu but opted for just hookah on this visit. Bathroom is super tiny. Don’t expect to turn around in there! At least it was clean.

Good place for hookah and drinks. The place is a little small and crammed though. It gets packed during the weekends so either come early or after midnight. The hookah really good and not over priced like most places. The service is good and the staff is very accommodating. My favorite hookah is mixed fruit with mint in a grapefruit. They also have the ice hoses here which I love. Will definitely be coming back.

This place looks nice, it’s a little cramped up. The hookah is okay its very light. The prices are so expensive and for a place like that, the prices don’t really make sense. I was charged 10 dollar service charge for what service? I saw the server only 3 times and when I needed something I had to look for her. I don’t know what the 10 dollar service charge was for if there was no service. Probably wouldn’t come here again.

The owner Amir is so nice, if he’s there while you’re there he will set you up with the best hookah and even fix it for you with out calling over a waiter A very personable place w/a friend staff Definitely the best hookah in Bay Ridge. Very welcoming to women and young crowds. They even have a male belly dancer which makes all the ladies feel at home! My friends danced with him & it was so much fun If you prefer a disposable hose they have them! & if you don’t know what hookah to order they always help Great night out or after hours Definitely recommend!

I discovered this place by word of mouth. From the first time coming here I’ve experienced nothing but the friendliest staff, the best made drinks, the most favorable houkhas, and nothing less than the best experience ever. I come from NJ2 – 3 times a week just for this experience. Red Oak is a must try and a guarantee to come back!

This place is terrible. I came here on a Thursday night with a few co workers and we Ordered some drinks, hookahs and food. It was so over priced and the hookah was so bad. None of our flavors tasted what they were suppose to be. The Waitress is beyond rude. She came over to us asking if we were ready and we just had sat down so we asked for a few more minutes and she just rolled her eyes and walked away. 20 minutes pass and she hasn’t come back to us so one of us went inside to get her. She comes out and is taking everyone’s order and than she asked my friend what is he getting and he didn’t hear due to having hearing problems. She asked him if he is deaf!!! We all looked at her and asked for the manager after that and than he waited on us the rest of the night. You think he would give some kind of discount due to her actions and us complaining how the hookahs all tasted bad. I would never come back here again!

This place is OK, a bit pricy but we did get the hookah in the watermelon bowl. It was pretty cool but I’m not sure it was worth 45 $.

If anyone says their hookah is «skilled» obviously doesn’t know hookah. Hookah: The first time we came we ordered an original favor: double apple with ice in the base. THEREWASNOTHING apple about it. It taste like harsh licorice. We told the bartender because the«waitress» was no where to be found. The bartender was so confused to why we didn’t like it but he was nice enough to change it for us. Needles to say the new favor was even worse than the original. It was the Malibu Bay Breeze but realistically it taste like absolutely nothing. He came up to check on us and we didn’t even bother complaining again but we knew this was the best we were going to get. So whatever. Drinks: The drinks were on point. Not to watered down and not crazy strong. No complaints there. Service: What service? The waitress was NO were to be found but sitting with her friends. The one told she did come over she looked like she just rolled out of bed and confused about life. It was like pulling teeth with this girl. What blew my mind was that they added 18% gratuity ! Which turned out to be $ 10… SHEONLYCAMEBYUSONCE! Never did she ask«Can I get you more drinks or how’s your hookah». SERVICEISGARBAGE ! Atmosphere: I would say that’s the only nice thing about this place. They play really good music and it’s not to loud that you could actually talk to people. It was cozy inside and clean. Overall, id spend my money else where. But I will say this… There is a bartender there(I wish I knew his name) who was extremely kind and apologized for our unhappiness with a free shot. We appreciated that jester because it showed us that he actually cared we were upset, and I thank him for that. That is a star all in itself!(:

Omg! They had Sahlab last night!!! I felt like a pregnant woman that needed to quiet a bizarre craving! My boyfriend loves Sahlab, so, at 11PM last night, we grabbed a mutual friend in search for some. We got to sit outside under the canopy tent, and listened to a pretty wicked mix of international music as we sipped and chatted into the early morning. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but they served the purpose. Little votive candles adorn the white linen tables, and it’s always a great laid back vibe. They won’t rush you out to accommodate other patrons; I like that. Baklava was my dessert of choice, but had a twist drizzled in chocolate instead of honey; perfect for your sweet, sweet sugar suicide. Thanks for always hosting a great friends night!
