Revival Home Health Care

Well tried to use for physical therapy after major back surgery, yet the best therapist never called or showed up. Even after multiple calls to attempt to get service.

No communication between each other at all. Two nurses, physical therapist and 1 home health aid came 1 time only (and believe me she only sat at the table in a long dress) and then that was it. They didn’t communicate with the agency what was going on. So much confusion getting people to come to my moms house. I only wanted two days for my mother since I worked those days and couldn’t be there for her. They kept saying they will come the days I needed but never did. Then 1 month later I get a call from someone at the agency saying they don’t service staten island. This was more headaches than not having anyone come to the house at all. How can an agency that deals with older, sick people have so much confusion and unprofessionalism. I couldn’t believe it. I ended up canceling the whole thing. Unbelievable.

My mother recently had a stroke and «Revival» Home Health care was chosen as her home health care provider. The home aid they sent to the apartment was barely acceptable. The two home care aides don’t even speak proper English so explaining something important to them is next to impossible. I am giving two stars for this review because I think proper home health care is very important to our parents and loved ones who are sick and need it desperately. Nobody should have to settle for someone who speaks little or no English when you have very important health demands that have to be understood and potentially taken care of in a very professional manner. This company seems ill equipped to deal with the demands of very sick patients who have a lot of demands. My two stars comes from the way the company has kept in touch with me, the denial of more hours to help alleviate the pressure on me to do everything for my mother when she can not do anything for herself. The only plus side to Revival is that their attitude for the most part has been pretty good in terms of listening to my demands, however meeting them is a completely different story all together.
