This Riviera Motor Inn is much like the other city center Hotels Riviera Motor Inn offers, large hotel with a nice lobby and a room that is very hard to complain about. The only issue I had with this hotel was the slow wait time for check in, the hotel was very crowded in the lobby and made for a hectic check in experience, once to my room there was a disturbance next door in which someone was being arrested by Brooklyn police. It certainly is not the hotels fault for being busy or having that disturbance but it did lower my positive initial impressions of the hotel. Once settled in the hotel met all my expectations of being a high quality Riviera Motor Inn.

Hot tub is great TV is crappy, there was no toilet paper and the floor looks dirty, the bed is uncomfortable and old the pillows are hard… but other than that the jacuzzi was great

My family got a room here during hurricane sandy when our boiler popped and didn’t have hot water. Our landlord who also owns our house, the one next door and the motel gave us the room to shower in.
The front door is through the parking lot not on Atlantic ave. When you enter their is a lady at the front desk who takes the payments for the rooms and hands you the key card. There is an office located on the main level as well.
I noticed everything to be clean and fine. Only negative is the people coming in and out can be very rude. I live near and when I walk by the motel some of the windows are open and you can hear people watching the television and women screaming.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there isn’t a refrigerator in the room. The room was $ 180 because it included the Jacuzzi but it’s worth it. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. The room comes with a Queen sized bed, 2 night stand tables, a table to eat on w/​2 chairs, and another table just to have more space to put your stuff on. There’s also a rack equipped w/​hangers to keep your apparel company. There’s the phone of course and also an ashtray if you care to smoke. The vending machines are on the 1st floor where you check in at. The drinks are $ 2.00 but I’m not sure about the snacks.

So popped here on surprise from my boyfriend the room was spacious the bathroom was spacious also and clean. The hot tub was very nice it took awhile for the water to warm up. The bad part of this room was the uncomfortable bed n homeless looking pillows. Nevertheless the Inn gets the job done. I will be going back

I come here when I must. Rooms for what you get are overpriced. Think its 60 for 4 hours. If you must come here for some recretional time then why not. No bed bugs either so good thing.
