S&E Building Materials

We had the unfortunate experience of having one of the drivers from S&E Building create several thousand dollars of damage to our sidewalk entrance door (newly replaced) during a delivery to a neighboring property.
The driver did not wait for the police to come but instead left the scene. Two witnesses saw exactly what happened, meanwhile the driver refused to accept responsibility. Calling up the company, they refused to do anything but tell us to call insurance. Did not accept any responsibility. Extremely uncaring and unprofessional attitude. This is the kind of company that reeks of indecency & dishonesty and should be avoided at all costs. We will now have to pursue them instead of finding that took responsibility for their mistake.

Hey, this is a great family owned lumber and building supply and you can feel their experience. half star off for being closed on Sundays, half star off for having doors somewhat overpriced. They are very prompt and overall professional, from the people that you talk to at the front desk (very informative and catching your idea even if you use completely unprofessional terms) to the delivery truck driver that is always working to make your unloading experience a pleasant one. I am a carpenter in past and i still do lead 5−50k renovations and many one of kind projects for many of my friends. I always recommend going there for best prices and most important — reliability. These guys have been there for many years, support local business for staying loyal. They ship truckloads of materials in Tristate area and still treat you as an equal customer when you come in with a $ 300 order. Free delivery after 300 or 400 order.
