Is Brooklyn in da House? Without a doubt and Im proud of this joint right here… As Unilocal knows I am a massage junkie and I travel beyond limits to find that one!!! Deborah(the massuse and everything else) was AWESOME!!! I love the ambiance personally and the smell was rejuvenating as Im a scent person… I had a amazon voucher and im very glad Im purchased it, for a swedish but what I got felt like a mixture of swedish and deep tissue as I had alot of pain but left with NADA lol its so convenient for me to get to and great places to eat at in the area, like Veggies so I made my appt for January and Im bringing my mom… Thanx to Amazon and Than u even more for doing a great service Serenity:)

I am rarely so inspired to write a Unilocal review, however after three visits I feel inspired to share. She is more of a healer than a general LMT. Her technique is impeccable, the space is pristine, and she is quite possibly the sweetest women I have met since moving to Brooklyn from Minnesota. I can not recommend her enough and guarantee relaxation, improved health and rejuvenation. So thankful to have her right in our neighborhood.

Quirk is certainly the word for this spot. Located on Eastern Parkway, you enter through a front yard with a lawn nobody has cared for and enter into what looks like a set for a sitcom, maybe somebody’s idea of a Brooklyn private detective’s office. The massage was thorough but not impressive and certainly not a Swedish massage, given that I’ve gotten one in Stockholm at the Grand Hotel. It’s more like you’re being tenderized before cooking.

Modest, quirky place. I like keeping my money local, in my neighborhood, so I was eager to try it. And I’ll be back! Reasonably quiet and calm, considering the location — most amazing was that I swear I heard birds chirping on the other side of the window in the treatment room, but outside that window is a parking lot and the street! Atmosphere means a lot for spa treatments and this was definitely homey and bohemian rather than minimalistic/cool and clinical. My Swedish massage was smoothand gentle, I think I’m not a fan of Swedish as much as I am deep tissue, but the Groupon was for Swedish, so that’s not her fault. She does all kinds of other treatments that I am curious about, so I will report back.
