I endlessly love Shake Shack — and now I have discovered their Frozen Custard Ice Cream. I tried a few flavors and the conclusion is: Vanilla is the best! That’s big news for a chocoholic… Check out my mini-review:

This place is what In-and-Out pretends to be. The food is excellent, with a nice succulent burger and crispy fries. Go for the Shake Shack flavor of Brooklyn Brewery, it’s a delightful nutty, moderately heavy ale.

I really like this location. It is across from Barclays and I can grab a bite before heading in. When I arrived, the line to order was out the door but orders were taken quickly. The person who took my order was very patient as he answered my questions about alternatives and substitutes. The place had a lot of seating and people did not linger around too long. There was one employee that stood out. He was positive and full of energy. You told us he would wipe down our table and did so with enthusiasm. He also found an extra chair for us.

Awesome with a side of awesome! Shake Shack, which is stunningly delicious, without the waiting in Manhattan locations. Shout out to Kymoni, awesome to have a such a friendly fellow at such a great establishment!

I rarely eat burgers but every once in a while I need a cheat day and today is the day. Burgers are comparable to a Five Guys Burger to be honest. The vanilla shake is super delicious. I would definitely not recommend eating this type of food more than once a month.

«Welcome to Shake Shack, what’s shakin’ tonight?» Is that what all of the cashiers say when you walk up to order? Because I haven’t heard it anywhere else and I kind of love it. What was shakin’ last night was that this gal was hungry and in need of some shacktastic food before heading across the street to watch the Nets/Cavs game… Like many of the other Shake Shacks in the city this one was crazy crowded around 6pm(which we fully expected). Word of advice: if you aren’t going to a game or concert at the Barclays than I don’t recommend eating here on an event night — it’s just not worth the headache. But if you can deal with the crowds then you won’t be disappointed by SS. You just can’t be! Juicy flat-top grilled burgers with gooey cheese and super soft potato buns? So good! My favorite is their classic double cheese burger. And if you go for the burgers you’ve got to get a side of fries. Crispy golden crinkle fries. Yumyumyum. Besides the quality food this location has a few other things going for it… + Quick moving lines. Apparently they aren’t intimidated by the arena crowds because the staff moved calmly and smoothly. Bonus — I counted(4) cashiers open and taking orders. + Easy access to the condiment counter and the water cups. And even a small waiting area if you’re taking your food to go. + Plenty of seating options: four-person booths, two-person tables, high tops. + Same simple modern yet warm design aesthetic. I applaud the designer who came up with the scheme for each of the SS’s… dark wood plus pops of green and textured walls? Love it overall. I basically just love Shake Shack. If you’ve been wavering on whether or not you should try it out — ummm, yeah, you should try it out. But for the full experience — maybe not on game night.

West Coast, best coast. Unless it’s about Shake Shack. Beats In-N-Out, in my opinion, hands down. Never understood the hype around Thousand Island dressing. Yuck! Shake Shack for the win!

Order at the counter and get a flashing buzzer, find a table and then the buzzer will go off. A quick process even during dinner time. However, I’d say that the food tastes better with a wait at MSQ park though. The bun was soft, tomato and lettuce fresh, but the meat just wasn’t how I remember it. It was moist but thin/flat. The fries were undercooked and the cheese congealed. When in bk I’ll prob stick to other burger joints.

Shake Shack is sheer perfection. All fast casual burger chains, listen up! The menu is fairly simple, with burgers, dogs, fries, and shakes, but they’re some of the best I’ve ever had. Since I was a noob, I set my burger baseline with the shack burger. The patty was perfectly charred and crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. With cheese, lettuce, tomato, and shack sauce, the burger hit the spot. Fries with cheese sauce on the side, and half of a chicken burger rounded out my lunch. Personally, I thought the chicken shack was better seasoned than Chik-Fil-A. I know, right? Quick service, and hot, fresh food. What else could you ask for?

Never knew that this place existed ! I was in the area and hungry for burgers and sincerely thought that Shake Shack is only located in Manhattan… I walked in and there is a portable menu I took while waiting in line. They had a guy walk around asking people if they had any questions in regards to the menu. I was welcomed nicely by the register and she took my order accurately. Come time to pick up my order, the guy chatted me up. I was expecting a «have a nice day/evening«. Instead he treated me like an old buddy from years back. The wait time was relatively short too. Great customer service all around. The employees working the kitchen were quite diligent in handling their tasks. Everyone that works there, actually WORK. I did not see people slacking around at all.

I finally made it! I had a simple cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and was more than satisfied. I also love that they encourage you to utilize the free water. I always feel like I’m trying to stick it to the man when I get some water from the soda dispenser from fast food joints but this place is a free for all with the H20. Lovely! I came right before the lunch rush on a weekday so I can only imagine it must get really busy after an event at Barclays.

You can never go wrong with Shake Shack and this location was no exception. Overall, I got great service from the staff and had a yummy meal. This location, being one of the newest, seems more updates than others. There are 3 tvs in the restaurant showing sports, perhaps it’s because it’s across from the Barclays Center. It almost gives it a sports bar feel as a result. I got there at 4:15 and was pleased to see that there was no line. Once 5PM came, the line went to the door. But the staff seemed to be working quickly so everyone on like moved through quickly. At the time I was there it seemed to be the hang out spot for the high school students in the area. It was cute to see them all hanging out and having fun. I guess it’s the modern day version of «The Max». On top of everything, Tom Colicchio was dining at the restaurant the evening I was there. If it’s good enough for superstar chef Tom Colicchio, it’s good enough for me.

Wasn’t as good as I remembered, or maybe it was just this particular location: Burgers were OK, but the assemblage was bad — not properly layered, so the meat was kind of sliding off the bun. Wasn’t enjoyable to eat that way. And it was a little soggy. Just fell flat. The line moved fast though. Was crowded her for lunch. The people didn’t seem to be too happy working… but I don’t expect chipper service all the time in the food industry. It’s not easy work. Fries were solid.

Let me start off my saying that I could eat burgers every day 3x a day if I could. The first time I sunk my teeth into a Shake Shack burger I absolutely fell in love. Whenever I’ve been to Shake Shack I’ve found the food to be of exceptional quality and spectacular taste. I could be wrong but I feel like all locations are fairly consistent with food and service. I’ve never had a poor experience. There is also a «C» line reserved for orders such as ice cream, shakes, and beverages. I love that they serve beer and wine. A nice adult beverage is alway a nice compliment to your in house meal. My go to order is the single Shack burger with cheese fries. This location has a nice outdoor seating area for warmer months. When I stopped my today(10⁄11) the chairs and tables were already removed. I think this may have been slightly premature since we will still be having some 70 degree days. Nonetheless I love the food and will be returning again and again and again.

Lots of sitting, friendly staff and convenient location! Only a 20 min train ride away from Brooklyn College, so I’ll come back more often. It was not too busy around 1 pm, which was great! Do they have free wifi in every Shake Shack? Well, this one does for sure. Instagram awayyyy! The food is the same glorious stuff that you expect from every shake shack. I was sad that I missed out on the chicken sandwich again tho. Treat yo self and get the cheese fries with your Shack Burger! Make sure to ask for pickles! Also make sure to try the special custard flavor of the week!

My first time trying it, I gulped down the burger so quickly it would not have been fair to write a review yet. I could easily lose sight of my wannabe holistic healthy ways coming here. I felt so typically American, but yes – I do like a good hamburger with fries and a milkshake. What makes Shake Shack different than the typical fast food joint? The burger was perfectly juicy both times. That’s important to me. Juicy, well done but not burnt. The customer service has been consistently good and the line moves quickly. I really like the facility because it’s nice and roomy, the bathrooms are nice and it has a contemporary modern wood throughout. A big plus is the kitchen is transparent with plenty of customers surrounding it so I feel safe the workers are properly handling food at all times. The prices are decent for New York because I can get a single burger for $ 4 and some change instead of paying the typical $ 8, yet it’s not the fast food you would get from a Burger King. I am pretty happy with them and wouldn’t mind returning.

Brooklyn Shake Shacks are enjoying an influx in popularity over their Manhattan counterparts(or any other location). All thanks to the new ChickenShack sandwich! The ChickenShack is definitely up there as far as chicken sandwiches go. The perfectly breaded, perfectly seasoned, perfectly fried, perfectly juicy chicken patty is well, perfect. The accompanying pickles and herbed mayo are great with the chicken. IFONLY they had gotten the bun right. Explain to me why the top bun is warm, buttered, and toasted, but the bottom bun is limp and ICYCOLD? No joke, it tasted like they had just taken the bottom half of the bun out of the fridge. The combo of partially warm/partially cold sandwich was jarring and unpleasant. Especially when such a small oversight totally changed what would have been a perfect sandwich. Sigh. I’m not the first one to experience this, so I’m guessing it’s a reflection on this particular location. While it’s big and convenient to Barclays and the subway, I couldn’t help but notice that this location is not maintained as well as the others. Messes on the condiment counter and trays of discarded food remained untended the entire time I was there. Not enough to stop me from coming back, but definitely something to be aware of.

I thought for sure I had reviewed this Shake Shack location already, but I guess I was mistaken. This Shake Shack location has many things going for — it’s footsteps from Atlantic Terminal(i.e. also a few blocks from my apartment), they have a big air conditioned indoor space and few tables on the sidewalk(looking directly at Barclays Center), and the lines generally move quickly. Of course, one of the biggest benefits of Brooklyn Shake Shacks is that they were the first to introduce the ChickenShack! If you like fried chicken sandwiches, definitely give theirs a spin. It’s among the best non-Nashville-hot-chicken sandwiches I can remember. Very meaty, and the buttermilk sauce is wonderful. But for some reason the bun mine was on was cold. I’ve heard others experiencing similar issues. Not much more to say, but you’ll definitely find me coming here more often!

When is Shake Shack ever bad? I’ve been to all the ones in Manhattan — this is my first SS in Brooklyn. It’s located conveniently outside of Barclays Center — just make sure you don’t come here right after a Nets game, which is when I went. Luckily, I got there right when the game ended and went straight up to the register — no line at all. By the time we ordered and barely sat down, the line was out onto the sidewalk. Shake Shack is one of the solid places around Barclays Center that needs little to no thought. I ordered the Shackburger, an order of crinkle fries, and a root beer(on tap!) — they were all tasty as usual. Minus one star because my burger was a lot more soggy than I remember it being at the other Shake Shack’s I’ve eaten at. The whole thing in general was way more greasy and most of my Shack sauce was towards one end of the burger. Plenty of seating, but beware of the after-game/show rush. Not sure what the wait is like before games/shows.
