I’ve only ate twice from here but this time was a warning to possibly stay away. I’m not sure if this is one of those places where you use a deal they partake in and then get made you’re using a deal, anyhow, no excuse will justify raw food and a wrong order. I ate about three or so dumplings before getting to uncooked dough ones and stopped eating that. Luckily I had my spring rolls, so I thought. I bit into one and spit it out as it wasn’t what my mouth expected. It was the red bean rolls. I like red bean paste so I continued to eat the possible day old hard roll. Overall I’d like to give it one last shot super down the road but wouldn’t recommend it to ya.

Excellent fried dumplings. The dipping sauce cups are too small to fit the dumplings. No bathroom. Not much of a menu. Just good decently priced hot fried dumplings.

I love this place for the fact that I can quickly get in and out and get a filling 6 dumplings for only $ 3.50. HOWEVER their Sanitary Inspection Grade is a C! C!!! C??? Also the cashier the first time I visited could not help me with much. I inquired about a clear sauce they had next to the Sriracha and Soy Sauce and she couldn’t tell me what it was. I also asked which tea she recommends and she admitted that she never tasted them. She might have been new but better training could’ve avoided the situation. I did have a better encounter the second time around as another cashier was friendly and very informative.

Funny story. I walk in and the store is empty. I ordered 10 beef dumplings, spring rolls and a scallion pancake. The girl tells me 10 minutes for the beef dumplings. I say ok no problem. A guy comes in an orders 6 fried pork dumplings. He asks for them to be extra crispy, she replies we have soy sauce. He gives up. A few more people walk in as I wait and wait. Two guys who ordered dumplings fifteen minutes after me get their dumplings. Wow so I have to wait 20 minutes and this guy gets his beef dumplings in two minutes wow. Oh especially that he didn’t order beef(they were mine) and his friend ordered veg and got pork. I wait some more as this idiot realizes everyone got the wrong dumplings and this is an unraveling disaster. She has no idea what to do. I see this just is never gonna happen and after waiting in the store for a half hour I asked for a refund and left the store. No sorry or nothing just a blank stupid gaze wow. I have never seen such an idiot in action. Wow mind numbingly dump and they also have a C rating that I didn’t notice till on my way out. So maybe it was a blessing.

This place is definitely a cheap spot to go for lunch. You get a lot of food for what you pay. I did give it 3 stars for two reasons. #1 — The smoothies are really overpriced. I got the green tea smoothie and the gentleman filled my cup about ¾ of the way full. For close to $ 5.00 I should get a full cup. It was a powder mix with ice. It tasted gritty and I didn’t like it at all. #2 — I noticed that they dumped a big pre-packaged plastic bag of frozen dumplings into a pan. I’m not sure if the dumplings are made fresh or if they are just heating up frozen ones. The people were friendly though!

After a long day of shopping this spot has become my go to place for a quick bite. Very inexpensive menu 6 dumplings for 3.49, 10 for 5.49 you can’t go wrong ! The staff is very nice and food is ready in under 5 mikes. The dumplings are very well seasoned and if you eat in its a very clean environment

Five stars! One for how clean it is, one for the fact that it’s made to order, one for how quick the service is, one for the plump and delicious dumplings, and one for the amazing value! Check in on Unilocal and get 10% off.(No high chairs, but they were nice to our wandering 1 year old).

Came here and ordered 6 pork dumplings, scallion pancakes, vegetable spring rolls, and apple ginger tea for around $ 10. Dumplings came out quick and hot. The tea was a bit too sweet for me, though fine once the ice melted. Everything else was yummy and satisfied my craving for dumplings and Chinese food. Are these the best dumplings I’ve ever had in my life? Probably not. But with their ridiculously low prices and enough food to last me two meals I’m a happy customer.

Nothing great, it was just Okay! Dumplings had too many hard chucks of meat in them, and they ran out of Pork dumplings, REALLY?!

I popped into Siz-In-Pan on my way to a work event, on an empty stomach. Starbucks in hand and a rumbly in my tumbly, I found myself outside this little spot in Downtown Brooklyn. Nothing too special, but certainly 6OK dumplings for $ 3.80 can’t really be beat. They mention something about their dumplings being healthier because they are«meat & vegetable». There are hardly any veggies, but my dumplings were greasy, fried mediocrity in under 90 seconds – I kid you not. So, if you’re pressed for time, this is definitely a place that can have you in and out in a few minutes flat. They dumplings were way too greasy and also salty for my personal taste, but at these prices, I guess not horrible. Not bad, but I certainly wouldn’t be making any trips down here for another taste of these.

It was okay, better than the thick dough ones from the regular Chinese restaurants but still around the same ball park. It is very cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I may try it again idk.

Small space that seems to be run by a family. The prices are fantastic, $ 3.49 for 10 pork and vegetable dumplings, $ 5.49 for 10 chicken vegetable dumplings and $ 4.50 for 24oz smoothie. Both of the dumplings were juicy, crispy and had a good flavor, but it was clear that they were frozen previously. The mango smoothie wasn’t good — it tasted very artificial and too sugary. Would return in a pinch but not otherwise.

Four BIGSTARS!!! I used to work close by and ate here several times. Simple menu and amazing food. Dumplings pack with flavor and fresh ingredients. Service is always fast and friendly. No styro packaging, all green and did I forget to mention their selection of healthy beverages. Worthy of the trip from anywhere, as I love cheap quality dumplings almost as much as my family. This is the best dumpling house in NYC.

Super cheap dumplings, which is the biggest reason why we came here so often! Pro — meat dumplings are really tasty. Con — vegetable dumplings aren’t. They’re pretty bland and flavorless. Unfortunate for vegetarians like me :(But I still came here often because the price is so good! They also have good pancakes — I think the one we got was a scallion pancake or sesame pancake or something. We tried it with an egg once, and that was tasty.

3& ½ If you are in this corner of Downtown BK, this is the source to seek if the craving for Chinese style dumplings should strike you. The pork are both the cheapest and the best of the three options along with beef and chicken but all are good. Plump and sturdy yet still somewhat delicate, they are artfully prepared and presented, topped with a scattering of chives. The staff is terminally cheerful and the space is clean and bright boarding on futuristic. While the quality might not equal and the prices may surpass your favorite Chinatown/Flushing spot the quality and constancy are considerably better than nearby Golden Fried Dumpling and the price essentially equal, and certainly cheap.

Let’s start with the food– My usual order consist of chicken and vegetab dumplings and I recently ventured away from the usual and tried their vegetable dumpling. The service is usually fast, never takes over 2 minutes to received an order of chicken dumplings because pork and chicken is their most popular dishes. However, the veggies took between 5 – 7 mins. I appreciate their scallion pancakes that they’re have listed as their breakfast item, you can even add egg and ham for $ 1 extra or .50cents for each addition. Take home message: While they have a few options for dumplings, it is best to stick with the usual such as chicken or pork. The veggie dumpling that I paid extra for was highly disappointing, each dumpling skin was falling apart and sticking to each other even though it took a while to prepare. They have an extensive drink menu with smoothies and tea, with pre brew the. I high recommend the apple and ginger one — very refreshing and good for the throat. But otherwise, stick to the chicken or poor dumplings to avoid the risk of disappointment.

I like dumplings. They serve dumplings. Already this seems serendipitous. And while $ 4 for 10 dumplings is roughly double the price I pay at some of the grimier dumpling houses of our fair city, it’s still an excellent deal for lunch. Especially a lunch of ten juicy dumplings in a clean, comfortable establishment. I do feel compelled(by what, I don’t know) to let you know that Siz-In-Pan is not my favorite name for a dumpling joint. However, I suppose I don’t own the place, I just give them $ 4 every once in a while for some dumplings. So as of right now, they haven’t let me weigh in on any of the marketing discussions. If/when they do though, I’m also going to tell them that the slogan of «Small Difference. Big Surprise.» is also not ideal. I don’t want any surprises in my dumplings. I’m just glad that you’re here, hanging on my every word. It will keep my self-esteem up until Siz-In-Pan starts returning my e-mails.
