Stumbled into Soup Queen this evening and was blown away by the quaint character of the shop and owner. I tried multiple creative infusions and will be back for more! The chicken ginger and pork-​red-​bean sweet potato were very impressive. Highly recommend

I don’t usually update a review, but Souo Queen is praise-​worthy enough to do so. It’s not just the soup that’s great it’s an experience. The Soup Queen herself is always cheerful and friendly. She’s a hard worker and it shows. She’s transformed Louis-​Gs into her personality. Her nostalgic collages and decorations, a miniature, pink Barbie sink for instance, are an what makes Soup Queen more than just the best soup around.

Not only is the soup amazing, the woman who runs this place is a truly beautiful human being. I was out working in the cold a few weeks ago and she offered me and all of my coworkers a warmth in her small shop along with free soup. It was an amazing reminder that people can be good and this world isn’t as shitty as it seems. I’m not in the neighborhood often but I will go back to try more of her soups.

Absolutely incredible home made soups! Menu changes daily. Flavours are rich and complex. So far I’ve had Chicken soup (infused with so many flavours!!) and Angus chilli and both have been amazing!

Oh, so happy to see the Soup Queen is back to feed us through these cold months ahead! These soups are BEYOND. Last night we had a pork bone marrow soup with beans and watercress which was effing fantastic. And, we had a cream of corn chowder with chicken, okra, and peppers. Both soups were delicious and very filling! We had sunflower bread and sourdough on the side, also fantastic. The Soup Queen herself is so lovely and has her collage artwork up all around the space. Speaking of art, she’s also got a great Christmas window up by Brooklyn artist Deborah Camp. No doubt we will be hitting her up all winter long. She also makes flavorful vegan soups for those so inclined. An absolute must for soup lovers!

Soup Queen has delicious homemade soups with fresh ingredients. I had heard great things from neighbors and stopped by to have a taste. The owner is very cheerful and interactive. She offered me samples of the fresh soups and chatted about the ingredients. I tried the Roaming Hen soup which featured ginger, watercress, and other fresh herbs. So tasty. I will definitely make this one of my regular stops for food on the go in East Williamsburg.

The BEST soups around! It’s hard to decide which one to take home but they’re more than happy to let you try as many as you like. Just what the neighborhood needs to stay warm during the winter.

Best chicken soup ever!!! This hood needed this spot and the owner is great! Quality and truly soul warming soups. I have had 3 and lived them all but the ginger infused chicken was mind blowing. Highly recommend and hope everyone in the hood gives it try!

I am a fan of hearty soup and I have found the best
soup, with all fresh ingredients. The consistency is
perfect and the flavors blend together so well.
The Velvety cream of pumpkin soup is like no
other, it has pumpkin, with a hint of coconut
flavor, with special spices, all Organic and
very healthy.
This is by far very velvety, with health and
flavorful written all over it, I will definitely be
returning when I visit next year.

Great soups that are all organic and homemade. The staff here is very attentive and a great addition to the neighborhood! Absolutely love this place and cant wait to go back.
