I enjoy coming to this store during mornings. The staff are quick with the orders and also orders are quite accurate. There are plenty of seatings. There arent any charging area like most starbucks.

Okay, so I’m late on the Starbucks craze. but only because I don’t drink coffee. I started becoming a fan of Starbucks in 2015 and I earned that coveted Gold card lol. + this location is a block away from my job, and conveniently located in(front) Barclays center, and across from the Subway station. + isn’t the biggest location, but ample seating for you to enjoy your beverage. —– — service is hit or miss. — i tried the new spicy chorizo, monterey cheese and egg breakfast sandwich — VERYTASTY, but sometimes I feel like the baristas don’t care that it’s food that will be served to someone. It was sloppily thrown into the bag and given to me.(see photo) — one barista(young guy) gave me such an attitude yesterday, kind of turned me off. but again, very close to my office. — overall: typical starbucks, EXCELLENT location — no qualms about fixing your drink either.

This has to be the worse Starbucks I’ve ever been. tried several times but never had a single decent drink and staff is clueless Already wrote to Starbucks got vouchers and went back in there but only to get even more disappointed If you want a Starbucks nearby the one on 7thAV and 1st is very good

They know what I want when I hit the door without using the order aged App. Despite having a few Starbucks in the downtown BK area, I frequent this one just because of the staff.

Great location, never had an issue here. The staff is sweet, I usually don’t have to wait on line for a long time. The seating area is also very nice.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Starbucks… Nicole was my cashier… I have ordered the following in many Starbucks across the country… Venti iced coffee sweeten and a coffee cake. 1 she asked if I wanted additional sweetener as the iced coffee already comes sweet, I know for a fact it doesn’t. 2 she asked me if I wanted a reduced fat coffee cake and gave me a once over look… implying I could use it. She asks me to step aside I ask for the cake too? She said yes, I realized that she didn’t ask me if I wanted my coffee cake warmed up, she assumed. I inform her I didn’t want it warm, she rushes to the bag she wrote on to write what I can only assume was«not warm». Finally I get my items and rush out as it was getting crowded, my coffee is not sweeten and my cake is warm. I won’t be returning to this location, as there is another Starbucks at the barclay center I’m hoping for better luck.

The staff is usually nice and this place isn’t as busy as the other Starbuck’s nearby. They also know the orders that they are making! Thanks for not messing up my fraps.

I went to the Barclays Center on July 20th at 1:57pm. I had a simple request, a glass of water. The temp was in the upper 90’s and the humidity made it ever worse. The woman at the cash register stated they didn’t provide cups of water. No problem, I understand business overhead. I offered to pay and she stated she couldn’t sell me a cup of ice water, but I could buy a bottle of Perrier water. Umm., no thank you I don’t like the taste. At this point I wanted to ask her why this was such a big deal, and inform her of how ridiculous this«policy» was. However, I didn’t have the energy. I left, and I’ll never go back. I’ve never had a problem at any other Starbucks, nor have I heard of this policy. If this is something they’ve decided to do they’ll lose me as a long time customer.

Starbucks is Starbucks, I go here to get my caffeine fix when my neighborhood coffee shop is closed or when I am on the run and don’t feel like brewing my own. They get my drink right one of ten times so I usually just purchase black coffee and craft my own creation when I get to work or where ever I am headed. Starbucks is pretty much monopolizing the café scene, you can’t walk down any city block without running into one if not two shops so I often give in and just buy the basics. Those guys are paid.

Located right outside Atlantic Center and a floor below is the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R train, and the LIRR. You can do your shopping and then go take the train home without ever having to leave the station. Super convenient! This particular Starbucks is small with minimal seating and there is usually a long line. I know they are working quickly to pump out drinks but it doesn’t help when they occasionally forget to make a drink and you end up having to wait longer than you were already waiting. The plus side is that everyone is super nice and patient and they will correct their mistakes immediately.

Grabbed a coffee and hot chocolate while in Brooklyn. Quick service. Bathrooms had to be unlocked by employee, is that typical here? It was a fine experience.

What a excellent location for getting my favorite Iced Mocha… passed by many a time but stopped in after Shake Shack. I dont care how cold it is outside gimme my Iced Mocha Latte dam it. Oh wow this place is not big at all but it does the trick. Service was prompt and friendly, I did see outdoor seating last summer but cant wait to return and enjoy the sights & hustle and bustle surrounding Barclays.

Love this location. The baristas are quick and friendly. I haven’t had to complain yet. There definitely isn’t enough indoor seating for winter, but during the spring and summer, this is a great outdoor location. It’s easy to jump off the train at Atlantic, grab a cup and jump back on.

Definitely need more outlets but it’s awesome to see the practice court while drinking my latte! Love Barclays center, the outdoor seating is nice but competitive to get a spot :)

The lines are never too long and most times you are lucky enough to snag a seat to actually enjoy your coffee or tea. If there is a line, it usually loves pretty quickly. I like the unique décor that has been added to this location. Being able to see the practice court at the Barclays Center from inside the Starbucks is a plus too. My coffee has always been made to perfection. It’s hit or miss with the employees you interact with there. I have had my experiences with both overly-friendly as well as dismissive.

I don’t have anything against Starbucks. I think that in terms of location, it’s in a great location for people visiting the Barclays Center. I think that what really draws people into this Starbucks in particular is the fact that you can see the Brooklyn Nets’ practice basketball court. You get a great view, and they have a weirdly shaped bench(made out of the same material as the court, I’m assuming — or at least the same kind of finishing) where you can sit, mingle, and try to catch the Brooklyn Nets practicing. I think that is the biggest highlight of this Starbucks. I don’t think that I have had a bad experience at Starbucks yet … well, I know that I haven’t had a bad experience at this one(yet?). But in all seriousness, the view of the practice basketball court is a really nice thing to look at when you’re drinking an overpriced beverage.

Didn’t have a really good experience here last week, this girl behind the counter totally ignored me and my daughter. She just walked away and started talking to the other employees. The other girl did the same and I told her I’m ready to order now. Finally she came and took care of us. But I just didn’t like the way they approached us. No customer service, they need to be trained better. That’s the problem with these places they hire people that are rude and don’t have any customer service skills. It’s so weird because when I started going here when they first opened there was these really nice guys that worked there. Who knows maybe they were off that day I went with my daughter but they were rude. No problem with the coffee.

It’s freezing. You need a nice warm beverage to wake up your body and mind. Got to get yourself a tall hot brewed coffee and bagel. That coffee definitely hit the spot. A little half & half with two packs of sugar. I am satisfied, warmed up, and alert. The bagel with some cream cheese filled my morning hunger. I applaud the staff who come in here when there is still darkness out just to open the shop at 5 am.

Yes, from inside, you can see the practice basketball court(inside the arena) and you get to have a top window view. Kinda feeling VIP. To manage your expectations though, when I was there, there happened to be a team practice but the giant windows were covered with black curtains so the players can concentrate I guess. Totally understandable, I would want to be able to concentrate as a player and not feel like Nemo in a fish tank. The service is super friendly. I dislike one staff member though who talks and chats too much and too loud. I mean, he’s friendly and does his job. But do you really want the whole store to listen to your personal banter and life story? I mean, it’s a café and the music they’re playing is chill, calm and cool — which you kind of don’t hear because instead you hear about this trying-to-be-too-smooth guy’s autobiography. Am I the only one bothered by this guy? I believe his name starts with an S and ends with a D. As for the other staff, they are friendly but they respect everyone’s space and know when to let go. As for the interior design of the place, like with all Starbucks stores’ redesign, this new one is on the glamorous side. What I love about this particular location is their subway-themed sitting inside. Not like inside the train but the large slab of marble seating at some station platforms. You’ll know what I am talking about when you see it. The bathroom is strictly for customers only. It has a pass code and you will need the staff to type it in. I’ve used it twice and it’s clean enough. Bare bones and basic. There’s wifi here but only a few outlets to plug electronic devices at one end of the store where the huge common seating is. The plug is underneath the floating table part of seating area. Hard to describe. Like with all Starbucks cafes(as well as other café brands), the part that I am turned off by about this store, like the other cafes out there, is that it’s constantly filled with people who work on their laptops all day or worse, are there conducting seminars or client presentations. So, you have an aspiring Carrie Bradshaw there staying for several hours with a single cup of coffee, hogging one of the prized electrical outlets, deep in thought, taking her blog or Facebook post too seriously, fantasizing about how her short post will change the world. Ugh. I guess no place to sit for the rest of us. Add to that, during the afternoon rush, 5−6pm, expect the location to be packed by working New Yorkers on their way home + large families/clusters of tourists. Like a family of 5 from Europe will try to find a place to sit in this relatively small location. Yes, there is seating outside. But come on, the weather is getting cold outside. Which means more people will be squeezing to sit indoors. I hate the fact that cafes now are a place to compete for charging your cellphone/laptop and surf the net and no longer a place to quietly sip coffee and chat about existence. I am a hypocrite of course since I am typing this review inside this café. Sigh. Overall, now that this Barclays Center is drawing tourists with camera phones, this Starbucks is a welcome oasis from all the dirty zero-customer service generic fast-food chains in the neighborhood and inside the nearby Atlantic Mall(the McDonalds there is zero customer service, what do you expect). This Starbucks is clean, glamorous and friendly — a true reflection of the newly gentrified Brooklyn. Brooklyn, fortunately or unfortunately, is the New Manhattan.

I love coming to NYC to get Starbucks. They always put my name on the cup. Silly little thing like that makes that girl happy. I walked in before entering Barclay’s for a Bob Seger concert. Too bad they don’t allow you to take your drinks inside the Center. I had to pound my latte quick, and not take the time to sip and enjoy. It’s a shame because the iced latte was such a cup of heaven, made to perfection. The baristas were super friendly as well. A pretty small Starbucks location though.
