I used to hang out in this neighborhood a long time ago when it wasn’t very good, this store was a bad spot where they sold things they were not supposed to.
I went ot visit the old ‘hood today and stopped in and the place has done a complete 180! The protective plastic is gone by the counter and the place is cleaned up, i think it’s a reflection of how the neighborhood has changed over the past decade (and is still changing) and i have to say it’s for the better.
It’s still a basic bodega by any standard but it’s a huge upgrade, years ago ti would ahve been one star and i would have told you that it’s not safe to go here, not anymore!
