I don’t have an issue with them jacking up prices a bit — it’s a business after all. But I do have an issue with them jacking up prices AND continuously running out of standard breads, sauces, veggies. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you better have your menu in stock. This isn’t just an issue later at night, which would be fairly understandable. This is during the day and very frequently. It’s not that their employees are rude, but whoever described them as robotic is accurate. Most of the employees seem to be high-school and college kids probably on their first or second job, but their employees could be trained in customer service. You could walk in and there will be nobody in line but the employee there might be working on some task like baking bread. No problem, you don’t need to drop everything to serve me instantly. But at least acknowledge me and say«Hi. I’ll be right with you» or something. They’ll just ignore you for 3 minutes while they finish up whatever they’re working on and then walk up to the counter and shout«next». Just acknowledging customers is free and good service.

Fresh food and fast service. Place is often quiet. I don’t come as often, only when I crave Subways. Other than that, sandwiches is ok.

Usually they serve pretty fresh ingredients i like the store. I Get the Italian BMT or spicy Italian at times. They do a good fast service. And always courteous when I go.

Went in here around 5:27p.m. Got the chicken teriyaki 8inch long sandwhich, the total cost of my sandwhich was $ 7.75 but plus tax it was $ 8.44. I heard that other subways stores sell there sandwiches for $ 6 and this store was pricier than the other subways. I wouldn’t come here again because they charged me more than other subways stores.

Like Jay T. said, there’s always this guy working there during lunch hours who is oh so rude. I’m glad I only had him serve me once but boy oh boy; the time he served me felt like shit. He’s so rude and it feels like he doesn’t even wanna be working there! He doesn’t even have the decency to act like he’s happy. At first I thought he was like that because something happened to him on that day that made him mad but coming back again and again, I see he always has this icky, mean face on. If customer service is so lackluster, I’d rather just go somewhere else to eat. I don’t need to be paying $ 7 for unfriendly service when I can go somewhere else. I mean it’s on 86th street– there’s plenty other dining options out here. Now onto the sandwiches; if they’re made with tender love and care, it will taste just that. If the sandwich is made shitty, it also comes out shitty. The girl who made my sandwich today definitely made it with some good ol’ TLC. My sandwich was pretty good. Meat to bread to veggie to sauce ratio was on point. I’m pretty sure no one cares about the ratio of bread since you’re probably all like«lady, it’s a sandwich, just shut up and eat it» but I do! I don’t like my sandwich falling out of my hands or the sauce dripping down my arms when I’m eating a sandwich. At the end of the day, this subway is decent. Just tell the dude to quit the attitude and try to act a little friendlier and everything will be alright.

The worst subway I have ever eaten at. I work close by and EVERYONE complains about the one guy who is there during lunch hours but we all go back because it is really the only quick and healthy(non-corner store) option that is nearby. Dude is usually in the back when you walk in and ambles out slowly looking downright pissed to be interrupted from whatever he is doing. He must think he is very cool to be the overlord of a Subway in Bensonhurst. The sandwiches are lazily made, ingredients put on haphazardly and sloppily — he just glares at you while putting on toppings saying«what else?» over and over. It’s similar to the«And then?» drive-thru scene in «Dude Where’s My Car.» It’s sort of funny until you realize that the actual sandwich is either falling apart when you eat it or all the toppings are on one side and the other is just bread. It’s even less funny when you realize how much more fun Ashton Kutcher’s life is than yours. One time he actually broke the bread while making my sandwich and closed it with the top blatantly ripped and the toppings visibly spilling out of the tear, mayo and lettuce bleeding everywhere. I was really nice about asking for a new sandwich(since I’m there so often). He glared at me like a pissy child, like I was asking something ridiculous and made me the crappiest, sloppiest sandwich I have ever paid for. This guy is the only employee I have ever wanted to talk to a manager about. I doubt I would feel a pang of guilt if he were fired. I may even wind up being some sort of a hero at work.

Ingredients are usually fresh, the people who work there tend to be robotic for some reason. Also for some reason they charge a little more then in other Brooklyn Subway restaurants. A veggie delight meal is 50 cents more some reason, the place is pretty clean but blasts Z-100 all day which is pretty annoying.
