Trying to get a quick sandwich for my son and they have no tuna, however I’m negotiable and I go with another selection, then they inform me they have no spinach. O.k. Sooooooo when I ask for packs of mayonnaise and mustard so the sandwich will not be soggy when I arrive home, the sales associate tells me no mustard or mayonnaise packs are available… so I’m like okay«why not»…he responds dryly«we just don’t do that.» That will be my last time here.

I crave the Italian BMT from time to time and there isn’t a subway near my office(surprising I know), so when I was working from home on Friday, I had to cure my craving. No muss, no fuss, it’s your typical subway experience.

Thanks to the staff at this location I have started preparing my lunch at home once more. :) About a week ago I visited this location for a sandwich. I asked the lady to change her gloves before she gave me the world of attitude after ignoring my request. I told her that i wouldn’t want that sandwich unless she changed the glove, «that’s not sanitary». She finally changed it due to chatter from onlooking customers. After preparing my sandwich, she put back on the old gloves and tried to make a sandwich for someone else. The customer exclaimed, «are you effn kidding me», then stormed out. Long story short, i was the last customer left in the store and this lady(the one behind the counter) had the nastiest attitude I have ever seen. smh. Either way, now I bring lunch to work and save money. Thanks subway, now I’m actually eating fresh… and healthy.

Why I’m even writing this review, I don’t know. This subway was clean when I went there, the line was short, and the staff made my sandwhich very quickly. I was also very tired and otherwise following Afropunk, so I’m not even sure if anything would have been considered bad.

Look, I mean, it’s Subway(eat fresh, damn marketing!) However, serving such a large lunch crowd, I’d figure they could do a couple things to build a faithful following. Specifically, let’s try not to be extraordinarily stingy on the toppings. I’m not expecting a week’s supply of tomatoes on a footlong, but definitely more than two. I feel that the workers at Subaway are magicians in training: «What’s that, extra jalapenos?» *grabs a whole bunch, shakes/waves hands, allowing half the jalapenos to fall back and drops a few of the remaining on the sandwich*. Beats me. Anyway, I guess for $ 5.40, I can’t complain too much, though I just did… Also, my friend was displeased that they didn’t have Pastrami as an option… so be sure to temper your expectations!

Worst. Subway. Ever. I f you want an extremely sloppy and tasteless sandwich, you have found the right place. I also received soup in the form of five noodles in an entire bowl of broth with two miniscule pieces of chicken. As if the food was not bad enough, the people who work there are rude and dismissive. Further, they don’t speak English very well and yell at you to repeat yourself as if you are the one with the problem.(and I am a loud person in general actuallly!) What a disappointment and a waste of money.

I’ve walked in twice to this Subway, where the service was awful. The second time I was there, I had to walk out because the two men working there just stared at us and weren’t even taking our orders.

I like this Subway especially if I am picking something up on the way home via the Jay St Borough Hall Subway station. They make or I should say listen to what you are asking when you order your sandwich. PLUS they are open Late!!! it is Subway and tastes like a Subway Sub. EATFRESH!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Angles have come down from the heavens and plopped a Subway Sandwich Shop just a mere two blocks from our apartment. I’m so excited. Why you ask? Because they’re cheap, tasty and open 7 days a week that’s why! They cater too. 3ft and 6ft long sandwiches and cookie platters. Yum! This is dangerous.
