New favorite spot!!! Best egg sandwich I’ve ever had, no lie… And the cold brew is amazing. On top of quality food&drink, the staff is super friendly and the place is clean with a cool vibe. Love, love, love and will return many times with friends!!!

The staff was so friendly, even after I took a good 5 minutes to decide what kind of juice I wanted, was recommended a fruit here and there and the juice was delicious

I walked into Summers and ordered an egg sandwich and an ice coffee which came to $ 11 with tip. Grabbed a seat for the show which included 1. An employee removing the packaging from crates of goods on the main dining table 2. Another employee munching on a makeshift tortilla with cheese and avocado with a bag of chips that proceeded to fall on the ground 3. A third employee walking out to smoke a cigarette. The stewardship of the place was such vintage Williamsburg — careless and violating so many rules of hospitality — it was kind of charming in a way. As I observed the tomfoolery I wondered why the patron at the main table was still sitting there eating despite all of the chaos going on around him. He looked like a herb so I speculated internally that he accepted this treatment his entire life without every objecting to anyone or realizing he should or could. Biggie Smalls played in the background and it got me thinking about newer establishments cashing in on the association with the culture that they’re actually displacing. «What should the city just rot and decay?» the real estate developer would say. «Where am I supposed to live? This is my home and you’ll never take it from me!» the poor rent controlled tenant would reply. As the classic gentrification debate unrolled in my mind about ten minutes had passed and I didn’t want to be the jerk to approach the counter and say, «Hey moe-ron where the heck is my egg sandwich?» Fortunately someone asked, «Are you waiting for something?“And so they first began to prepare the egg sandwich. I’ve had the sandwich before and distinctly remember it being pretty good — it was! The texture and quality of the roll made me question why delis only have the types of rolls with poppy or sesame seeds. Still, when I step back to think about an $ 11 ice coffee and egg sandwich… I feel like a true peasant for spending my money like this.

I went to summers last Sunday because we wanted some breakfast sandwiches and since I’m such a fan of father knows best in bushwick and they’re owned by the same person I thought it would be good. But I was so wrong and it makes me sad because again I’m such a huge fan of father knows best. When we got in we were not greeted which I didn’t hold against them because it happens. We told them what we wanted, we got an egg sandwich and the veggie sandwich. When I was asked if I wanted an egg with my veggie sandwich and I said yes suddenly it was the biggest joke in the world. Literally every single person made a big deal about it and said«are you kidding me? Really an egg with the veggie sandwich». To me I found it really rude, That they asked if I wanted and egg and then made a big deal about it when o said yes as if it was a trick question and I had given them the wrong answer. On top of that the food took 30 mins to make it out to us and it wasn’t busy at all. They forgot about the regular egg sandwich and offered us coffee on the house but it just didn’t make up for the poor costumer service or how slow they were. I will say one of the guys was apologetic but I just thought it was rude and unnecessary. I think moving forward I’ll stick to father knows best where I know I’ll get the proper service.

I threw out a nine dollar smoothie that I waited for 15 minutes to be made. The guy was new but omg slow and seriously challenged. He forgot to put ice in. Ugh. Frustrated I went to juice generation and got an edible one for another 10 bucks. Thanks for the 20 breakfast. Never again This was at the Thompson St location.

I really like this place. They are a bit chaotic and inefficient at peak times but the stuff is good. The pressed bottled juices are good — I think the custom juices are even better and they actually made me wait just as long when I order the bottled one as the custom one — stood there 8 minutes in person waiting for them to hand me a pre-made bottle of juice when I came to pickup my order I had placed and paid for online. So if you are trying to save time please note there is not much advantage to ordering online since they will still keep you waiting a long time and won’t hand you the bag even if it is ready until you’ve waited in line — but if you are not in a hurry its a nice place to be.

Got this as a catered lunch at my office, so I can’t speak much to the brick-&-mortar location. That said, the food was great! The turkey bacon sandwich was well crafted on a tasty roll. The bacon was well prepared and brought a nice bit of tooth to the creamy avocado slices and tender turkey. I will def stop by the store next time I’m in the area. Particulary for one of their pressed juices. I tried the GREEN and RED flavors. The former was carried by the celery and lime flavors, which helped the kale/spinach/spirulina flavors that can be difficult to swallow from other distributors. The latter is definitely my flavor of choice; the warming spice of ginger was well blended into the sweet earthy beet juice that is enhanced by the carrot and apple notes. Cheers!

Visiting new york for the first time in a few years, I wandered over to Brooklyn to check out some of the cool new shops there. Along the way I Unilocaled and found summers. I had one of their cold pressed juices and an egg sandwich. The juice was super fresh and refreshing. And the sandwich hit the spot. Really great energy and cool energy in the place too. I didn’t stay too long but it was fun to see the«summer» themed décor even though it was 28 degrees outside in the middle of winter.

Love this place! Great décor, awesome music, and a relaxed vibe. I got the red smoothie and it was delicious! A nice blend of sweetness and texture. I gotta try the juices and sandwiches next time doe.

I placed an order from Summers on Seamless at 10:50a. It’s 1:20p, and no food. No call, no text, nothing. The phone just rings and rings, no one answers. What a joke. $ 11 for a juice and more than two hours to wait for it. This place sucks.

I live across the street from Summers and have been there over 100 times due to its convenience and deliciousness. I honestly love their food, coffee, and juice but there is one huge problem with this place. The staff might be the most incompetent group of 20-something stoners I have ever come across. Nice people, but they can not seem to get the orders right… EVER. I am writing this review because it has gone too far. The last five times I have gone there and ordered a sandwich and coffee it has taken near 25 minutes to get my order, and when I open it up back home, its the wrong sandwich. ALWAYS! Example: Just now, I got the Avocado Toast, opened it up and its was NOTTOASTED. Come on guys! Stop Smoking so much weed guys. You are destroying a wonderful idea.

Love Summers! Great spot to get fresh food and juice. It also has such a chill vibe! One of those places where you can order food and not be in a rush to finish. Egg sandwich with bacon is a must must try!

I go here for a coffee and a sandwich on my way to work, but now will miss it since our office is moving ! Thank you summers, you never disappoint !!!

If you have 30 mins to spare… This place is great. But if you’re in a rush and just want to grab a. Quick coffee or sandwich you should prob look somewhere else. I ordered a sandwich and a coffee and waited for 30 mins… There were like 6 customers and 4 guys behind the counter. Probably the managers fault for not organizing them properly. That said, the food is good but my coffee was warm, at best. It’s the only place around here that serves that type of food so it’s a shame that it’s such a hassle to order from here.

Came in this morning for a quick breakfast on the go. The spot is pretty small, but it does have a few seats inside and a bench outside that makes for great people-watching. I had the Egg sandwich and a small cold pressed juice(your choice of 4 ingredients) which were both super tasty and fairly priced. Only small downside is that the place was pretty smokey, they may want to invest in a ventilation duct to get the smoke out. All in all, a great neighborhood joint for a healthy snack at great prices.

My friend and I got to the area earlier than expected and stopped at Summers Juice & Coffee for something fresh. They also have a selection of food items available. The smoothies here are around $ 9, which is honestly a little more than I would like to spend on a drink, since I make smoothies at home very often. However, I was excited to try the juice, which is something I don’t have the equipment and patience to make hah. A small juice is $ 5 and you get to choose 4 different ingredients. My friend asked for a recommendation and got a combination of spinach, grapefruit, celery and lemon. And I had a combination of kale, cucumber, green apple and orange juice. My drink was a perfect blend of sweetness and definitely quenched my thirst. My friend was not very pleased with her drink as it was way too sour. My friend and I stayed inside to enjoy our drinks but had to leave when we both noticed a haze coming from the kitchen. My eyes were watering and it was getting a bit unbearable. The next time I come i’ll probably have another juice and sit outside instead.

Summers Juice is a small juice joint in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I got the«Date» smoothie. They have four smoothies, five-ish juices, make-your-own juice with four ingredients, and a couple sandwiches. You can also get a baby coconut for $ 5. The juice joint is small, with a few window bar seats and an indoor picnic table, where people are usually waiting for their drinks. Most people just come to pick up their drinks, instead of sitting and sipping. It’s a busy place, and the drinks aren’t quick to make, FYI. What I got/what I thought: — «Date» smoothie for $ 9. This is a similar smoothie I’ve seen in many vegan juice places. It had bananas, dates, cacao nibs, and almond milk. It’s a Vegan chocolate milk! It was sweet, and I liked the crunch of the cacao nibs. Some of the date pieces were not blended smoothly, so my straw caught some date chunks. Other than that, I really enjoyed my smoothie. I’d recommend to just pick up a smoothie instead of staying: There is little seating, it’s busy, and the blenders are pretty loud. The smoothies are good, but I’d like to see more options in the smoothie section. I like that you can make your own juice– A lot of people come for this.

Pretty mediocre experience; I got the Orange cold pressed juice and the husband for the Red smoothie. After spending $ 19 on two drinks we thought it would be better. The red smoothie was so bland; perhaps the strawberries weren’t ripe? It almost had a sour taste to it. As for my cold pressed juice, it was super sweet from the pineapple juice making it hard to finish at once. I also tried to use the 50 cent Unilocal check in, and neither of the staff members knew how to redeem it. It’s not a huge deal but why have it available on Unilocal if you don’t train your staff how to redeem it? Not sure I’ll be coming back at these prices; there are so many better spots in the neighborhood.

I happened to be staying across the street from this juice and healthy food joint during my trip to NY, and it served as a wonderful morning after stop. Perfect for getting the vitamins and nutrients we certainly didn’t get at the bars we visited the night before. Fresh juices here range from $ 5 – 7, which is a good deal considering their fresh ingredients and made to order system where you can choose any four ingredients. Their cold press bottles are pricier at $ 10, and if I wasn’t carrying a bunch home for my friends, I’d definitely prefer the more affordable fresh juiced version. You’ll also find some things to snack on here, from egg sandwiches to granola and avocado toast. I was surprised(and pleased) to find that though this place obviously focuses on healthy ingredients, it’s not vegetarian, so you can grab a turkey sandwich with that green drink of yours. The service is friendly and efficient, and the space is clean and minimal. Just a great little spot to stop into and get your healthy fix!
