This woman Irina was extremely rude to my fiancée and I.
She basically questioned why we were being «cheap». She questioned our nationality in a way that made it seem that she was not used to dealing with clientele that were not European.

This flower shop is the top of the line in the flower buisness. Irina met all of my requests with quality and exception that only one can dream of. She made my wedding that took place on March 26^th 2014 the greatest and most unforgettable day of my life. I recommended this place to all of my friends and family. If you are looking for the perfect wedding then this is the place to go without a doubt! All in all thank you Irina for all of your help. You made my life so much easier!

I scheduled a wedding consult with Irina expecting to have a five-​star experience — maybe that was my mistake. (The man I made the appointment with was super friendly, though!) After meeting with her for 45 minutes, I’m left wondering who these people are that gave her 5 stars (friends and family?) I’ve met with three other florists on my search for a wedding florist, so I was familiar with the process. This place and Irina were very disappointing — to say the least. I showed up early expecting to have some time to check out the shop to see some examples of their work. There were none. It wasn’t even open. Had I run my finger over the counter I probably would have gotten a skin of dust. My mother in law had come with me, so we all proceeded to move to the back office. No offering of water or coffee — forgivable. Onto the consult! The one thing I wanted was a specific flower submerged in water. I even showed her a picture from Pinterest to clarify. And since 3 previous florists didn’t have any problems with it, I expected her to respond the same way. Nope. She said she didn’t work with this specific flower and repeatedly tried to convince me (and interrupt me and my mother in law while we tried to explain) that this wouldn’t work. And because of our wedding venue, «You don’t want to look cheap. You want extravagant.» Which if she had even bothered to ask me what theme or look I was going for, she’d understand that ‘extravagant’ was not any part of our plan. Instead of trying to work with me on my idea, she suggested we find another florist for centerpieces. Really? Fine. Onto bridal and personal flowers. Not once did she ask to see pictures of my dress or of the bridesmaids’ dresses; nor did she ask for the colors (what kind of florist disregards this information?) I particularly asked for one flower and several others which I thought complemented the first; she continued to rudely cut myself and my mother in law off ‘correcting’ us. I suppose by now she realized I was about to get up and walk out of the store, so she repeatedly said, «I work as florist for 20 years. I know these things.» And laughing… by herself. She didn’t bother to ask what flowers I wanted for the groom, groomsmen, ushers and our family members. «That don’t matter.» I think my mother in law sensed my anger so she whispered for me to ask Irina what she would personally do for centerpieces. She drew some rough sketches out for us and filled out a sheet estimating how much she would charge. Although she did accommodate my budget, Irina was not at all pleasant, completely pushy and surprisingly rude. Maybe I caught her on an off day or maybe she doesn’t work with many brides yet. But I hope this review helps someone considering this florist for their wedding. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Went inside to get a bouquet and was pleasantly surprised how well it came out. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and if your not the creative type you can trust them to do a good job for you. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Irina took my vision for our wedding, added more beauty and special touches and made it come to life! She put together truly stunning decorations at my wedding. She was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. Everything that was promised was delivered and exceeded all expectations 10000x. She worked with my budget and all of my ideas. Even the owner of the wedding venue was impressed with her work (he came over to my husband and asked for her information). Irina and her staff were very hard working and would not leave until the last candle was lit up and the final flower set. I went through a bunch of vendors before I found Irina and she is the BEST.

Irina did the most amazing flowers for my wedding… the chuppah was magical, and the centerpieces were lovely!

WOW!!! There are no words to describe the high class work of Irina and her team. I researched so many florists for my wedding and was lucky enough to find someone who has such a unique talent, exceptional professionalism and the most reasonable pricing around town. My guests could not stop talking about the centerpieces, and chupa. Everything was done with such taste, the flowers were so fresh and Irina stayed until the ceremony started to make sure everything was perfect. Not only are they amazing artists, she was the most warm and pleasant person to work with. She made me feel like a million dollar bride even with a small budget. She has lots of pictures to show her work and its all very original. Trust me when I say you will not worry about a thing if you pick them for your event. Also, last minute I did not receive my cake topper and she decorated my cake for free. Now that is what I call class!!! Thank you for such a memorable event.

Irina and her team worked wonders with our wedding flower budget and created stunning centerpieces and bouquets. Our flowers lasted for weeks after the wedding and looked better than I ever expected. She did an exceptional job and even added a few extras last minute at no extra charge. I did my research on Brooklyn wedding florists and all of my hours of meeting over 10 florists paid off :) She is simply the best.

Sunshine Flower Shoppe has delivered flowers to my wife, my mother and my mother-​in-​law several times. I know that I can always rely on Irene to create something beautiful, unusual and memorable for any and every occassion! She & Eugene are always very accommodating with different and exciting flowers and all the little extras to keep me coming back as a customer. This is a small shop that is focused on detail and service. Two green thumbs up!

love love love them! they work with you, even when you ask them for stuff last minute! We used this florist for our wedding, flowers were the only thing i agreed to be in charge of – but i am the ultimate procrastinator, so i literally waited until the last possible minute to do everything – not a problem they took it in stride and made our wedding beautiful! This was also the most reasonably priced flower shop i found, cheap & good my favorite combo :)
