Sylvia’s Perfect Alterations

I don’t usually write bad reviews especially for small business but this has me really disappointed and upset. I dropped off a bridesmaid dress with Sylvia which needed some serious tailoring. The overall prices was $ 85, much steeper than other places but I’ve gone to Sylvia before and she usually does an amazing job so I figured it was worth it. I reiterated myself a good 10 times that I would need the dress by July 23^rd, JULY. She agreed with me each time and told me my dress would be ready in two weeks tops. Ok, awesome.
It’s now the 24^th, no dress no call nothing.
So I call, only to be told that I told her the wedding was August 23^rd and she’s worked in this business 40 years and she always gets the date right.
Clearly not. I don’t think as a customer I deserve to be told that I’m wrong when clearly she was just too preoccupied with charging me money to hear me out.
Cannot wait for my dress to finally be done, I won’t be returning.

I went to Sylvia’s to make major alterations to a bridesmaid dress. She was very knowledgeable, efficient, sweet and affordable. The location is humble, but that’s not what you’re there for. She worked wonders on the dress and I highly recommend her for all alterations, big and small.
