The variety of beverages is good. But the quality of the beverages is not admirable. They are sometimes good, sometimes bad. I infer that is because training of the employees is not enough. It is still ok to grab a drink there every now and then just to quench the thirst in a hot day, but it is definitely not a good place for enjoying a drink with quality.

Tbaar there milk tea not so great, almost exactly same as the ones bakeries serve. It just more expensive. No room to sit just grab and go kinda place. They do have a great loyalty program and that’s the only reason I do come back when I am in the area

This kind drink is good. It will expel poison in the system, lose weight. Taste is good, because put the honey inside, very sweet. include: cucumber, green apple, celery, and honey. But one reason I don’t like, they put vegetable in extract machine, it have vegetable extract and remain in the drink.

One of yhe first bubble tea place I went to in sunset park. They got specials and you can get a free drink after you buy like 5 or so… I usually get the same strawberry drink tho. They make it with real fruit which is healthy

One of the best places to get bubble tea. I used to think T Baar was expensive as opposed to other local bubble tea joints, but slowly each and every other bubble tea store has raised it’s prices to be somewhere around the same ball park as T Baar is in. However, T Baar’s bubble tea is of a much higher quality, so that would justify the higher price regardless. They use real fruits, beans, etc as opposed to just powder and ice. My favorite is anything with red bean in it.

Good bubble tea. Plain milk tea with bubbles is 2.50. Bubbles are perfectly cooked. The menu/pricing is a bit hard to decipher. Plus: they take credit cards with square even for small purchases.

good service but the price is too high for this kind of quality drink. I remember when I used to go there and the medium bubble milk tea was only $ 1.75. it also tasted better when it was cheaper. the workers did not add excessive ice, water down the flavor, use little tapioca… now its like the complete opposite and ironically for a greater price. but what’s good about it is the membership card where you get a free drink after the fifth purchase. I will stop purchasing drinks from here when I finish using my membership card and I look forward to trying out the bubble tea from other shops. I will not be visiting this shop ever again unless they work on the quality of the drink

It’s a really cute place. They play nice music and have a variety of drinks to sell. They also give these cards that say buy 5 drinks and you get one free. I love coming here to get the mango smoothie with jelly yummy

They’re extremely busy today since it’s hot out so I wouldn’t blame them for being somewhat unorganized. One thing they can definitely do is try to establish a line for ordering. A lady tried to cut in front of me. Ruuude. I ordered a medium iced oolong tea with half sugar and it was great. I paid $ 2.50 for it, which is actually a little expensive, but still worth it. Despite them being busy, my order came out in a good amount of time — 3 – 5 minutes maybe? I love the oolong tea!

Small corner shop with a wide variety if teas for a low price. Nice touch is their punch card which gives you a free drink after the 5 or 6th purchase. My favorite bubble tea would have to be the Passion Fruit. Absolutely amazing! Their orange/mango smoothie is also very refreshing and tasty. Highly recommend a visit to T-baar.

Tasty middle-priced bubble teas, coffees & smoothies from fresh veggies/fruits. Love the TV screens and bright green walls :) but what happened with the floor? It was so dirty, that I felt outside sidewalk is better for my suede booties. Also I wish the owner requested the employees to tie/braid their hair. The girls were super nice & quick, but I wish their long gorgeous hair wouldn’t fly around since they are working with food. All in all, it’s great little bubble tea place. A couple of fixes, and they’ll get their 5 stars from me :)

Best cold drinks on 8ave! Probably iI’m biased cause I’m from Taiwan but u have unique drinks here . I love their Virgo smooties! Never watered down. Passionfruit, pineapple, I think mango and something else. They use actual fruit in the smooties. I have tried the green tea red bean, it taste fine, definity not the flavor in Taiwan, but decent. I never come here during after school time frame, there are so many junior high school kids here. I think this corner is their unoffical hang out spot.

This place brings nostalgia! Around the spring and fall of 2012, I used to come here all the time after SHSAT prep with friends. I love bubble tea! Even though Tbaar is more mainstream, it doesn’t fail to satisfy my boba desires. The people here are okay.(There’s usually a girl behind the counter and two other guys in the background) Don’t expect to hang around long because it’s a very cramped space. It’s not a shocker if you see LOTS of school kids because it’s literally almost next to a school. There are about 3+ other schools that’s around too, but not as close. Now, to the bubble tea. I think the quality is actually better in this location compared to the 2 Tbaars at Fort Hamilton and further left/down 8 avenue. The bubbles are smaller and much more chewy. When ever I go, the bubbles are almost NEVER frozen and crusty. I WANTMYBUBBLESTOBEPRECISE. I always order the watermelon milkshake(I can’t in the winter/fall time), strawberry milkshake, taro bubbletea, occasionally the coffee, and of course the milk tea. I tried the mango bubble tea thingy and it was meh. Don’t bite on the straws because it breaks easily.

This is the T Baar location I visit often. It is a small corner store. The girls there are actually nice & polite! My usual is the lychee green tea. So refreshing! I first tried T Baar because of their $ 1.75 bubbletea. I actually like their bubbletea. Very decent tea flavor and not too sweet. The pearls are nice and soft too. But the price has gone up to $ 2. That’s still a great deal for milk tea. I also tried their smoothies, but didn’t like them as much. I’ll just stick with their green tea offerings. Try the lychee green tea!!! Buy 5 get 1 free with the punch card!

Cute place for bubble tea on the go. Too bad they don’t have any seating but they do offer a 50 cent student discount and a discount card for ‘buy 5 drinks, get 1 free.’ Their fruit drinks are pretty sweet and I like they they don’t water down the tea flavor. It’s strong and flavorful. I like to order the jasmine green tea with milk and jelly. Yum!

I believe there are three or more locations of Tbaar on 8th Avenue, so it is hard to miss if you are in the area. I hope that they expand soon to Manhattan. The employees are really nice, and they have been well staffed all the times that I have been. Your tea is usually ready within seconds. Check the seasonal specials, make sure that you get a deal on your Birthday or if you have a student ID card, and also get a frequent buyer card. Their teas are so delicious because they are natural tasting and not very sweet. Some other places make teas too sweet for my liking, but Tbaar uses strong brewed tea as well as natural flavors to give a more unique taste. I am giving them five stars because everytime I have gotten tea here, it has been exceptional. The base is usually red and jasmine green tea. There are so many flavors that I want to try. So far, my favorite has been their new Lime Green Tea, with fresh squeezed limes and I like to add fruit jelly. I also want to try their red bean and pistachio flavors. They do not yet have one of my favorite flavors; grapefruit. The locations are counter ordering with no seating. I wish there were more sit-down bubble tea houses in the area that also serve snacks… not just bakeries with lame powder teas.

The Bad — Need some seating area — Should add some snack selections The Good — So much different drinks to try from(whatever drink, piña colada, jasmine milk tea, etc.) — Fast and convenient — Buy 5 get 1 free(stamp card – drink has to be $ 2.75 and up for a stamp) — Student discount(50 cents) The Bottomline– Worth checking out. Soon to be a real competitor to TenRen. Not as good as TenRen but they are sure catching up. So many different stuff to try from. They have like 3 stores in 8th ave, which means that they are doing pretty good.
