Excellent training environment. Takahashi Sensei is as knowledgeable as he is patiently demanding. If you’re up for a rewarding challenge you’ve got to check this dojo out. I’ve been training in Shotokan for over 25 years and everytime I have a lesson with Sensei, I always know I will learn something new!

this dojo is wonderful! it is a diverse dojo in terms of age, gender, ethnicity et al. there are many families who participate, it is wonderful to see this type of learning environment. i am no karate expert, however i can tell you that sensei is respected and esteemed in the karate community. i consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on my son-don’t tell him i said so please– and his karate classes here, help him to keep centered physically, and mentally. as for sensei, i would say he’s a wise, patient teacher with a sense of humor and high expectations, who treats his students with dignity and respect!
