I came across Tasty Morsels bakery years ago through a friend. Her bakery mainly specializes in hand decorated gourmet cookies but also homemade cakes and ice cream cakes.
I’ve tasted the cookies on many occasions. My husband ordered the Mad Men cookies around my b-​day. They turned out so cute, too cute to even eat. They tasted wonderful and more importantly lasted for a good while. Not too soft, not super sweet. And the frosting was a good compliment.
I ordered a cake for my husband’s B-​day. We mostly communicated for months via email to decide on the perfect cake. She offered many variations of batter (such as, but not limited to yellow, white, velvet) and a ton of buttercream option (dulche de leche, Honey almond, Peach cream cheese to name a few). I ended up choosing a white cake with strawberry cream frosting. The delicacy was promptly ready for pickup on the agreed upon day. I was very impressed with the decorations, and better yet, the frosting/​batter flavor combination met my fastidious husband’s approval. What was equally as impressive, was that days later that cake was still moist and delicious as was when I first sliced into its goodness.
Not only was the service very professional, but I found the price for my cake size was also reasonable, especially when compared to other bakeries in BK.
I have been super pleased with our interactions and look forward to tasting more of her sweets.

Word of warning – Never purchase a groupon for anything if you want it by a certain time. I had purchased a groupon for cookies I had planned on having for for a party I hosted back in September. Well it’s now mid November and I just received them. I received one response to an email I sent inquiring about the order back in October. No apology just a response of «we are behind on groupon orders.» I sent another one in the beginning of November and no reply. I was going to call my credit card company to dispute the charge on my card since I paid a balance and shipping, when I received a fedex confirmation of my order being sent out. I’ve been burned by other groupon orders that I never received so have had to contact my credit card company in the past. Well since these cookies took almost 3 months to get here – I thought they would be fantastic – wrong! They were just ok nothing to hoot and holler about. I ordered the assortment sandwich cookies and received 5 chocolate chip, 4 mystery cookies (tasted them and have NO idea what they are), 1 oatmeal raisin, 1 snickerdoodle and 1 sugar cookie? Not really an assortment more like we have a crap load of chocolate chip and mystery cookies (really NO clue!) so there you go! The snickerdoodle and sugar cookie were actually good but of course only one and again nothing I would go out of my way to buy again. I thought about keeping them at my house to have for company for the holidays since they are individually wrapped but nah I can make much better! Oh well, I will be the hero in the break room today!
