Not only are her designs gorgeous, but she can really pack in brilliant colors which isn’t easy.
Dorothy is also just very chill and sweet. She was lovely to work with. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new artist.

I went to Dorothy for my first tattoo and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. I came to her with an abstract idea and some elements I wanted in it. She did an amazing job combining those elements into a beautiful tattoo. Her studio is clean and her cheerful personality made the consultation and tattoo session really comfortable. I have just completed the third session of a large piece, which has been expertly drawn, colored and imagined by Dorothy. Her space on Java St. in Greenpoint is incredibly inviting and immaculately clean, as well as easy to get to. Dorothy herself is incredibly warm and inviting as well. She handled all my questions with expertise, and made me feel like I was a valuable part of the creative process. She has a light touch, and would frequently check in with me to make sure I was OK or if I needed anything. I am BEYOND pleased with my tattoo; her color work is unlike anyone else, and it feels like much more than a tattoo to me– it feels like living art. Professional, friendly, and beyond insanely talented– what else do you need! Do not miss the chance to get inked by Dorothy, as I’m sure her talents will take her many places in life!

I am very happy to have had Dorothy to do my FIRST tattoo. I honestly could not have chosen a better artist. From the consultation visit to the completion of my tattoo i felt very comfortable. She is very professional, sweet, and a great artist. And she has a light hand. I had a foot tattoo — so way before having gone to do it I did my research. Everyone who had a foot tattoo done would say how painful it was. I came in expecting to be in excruciating pain… and I was not! I was very comfortable throughout the whole time Dorothy was tattooing. The design is beautiful, and looks 100 times more so on my foot than on the paper. Great hands! Thank you Dorothy!

I am very lucky to have met Dorothy back in days of La Guardia HS. She has a long history and practicing experience in the arts. I also have been a witness to his flourishing tattoo career. Last April I asked Dorothy to imagine something for my forearm. The day before the appointment she showed me the design. I couldn’t have been more pleased she was able to express exactly what I couldn’t get to articulate. Blending so many things dear to me; my polish background, third eye intuitiveness, cats and carbs (Poland is famous for wheat products) I instantly fell in love and will never have thought it would be as perfect as it was!
She is a great listener and always took my kindly as well had patients when I was asking too many questions.
Her extensive visual arts background allows her to tattoo in a very beautiful way. Almost like paintings. Using beautiful vibrant colors and easy strokes.
I get compliments everywhere I go on tattoo which is nice but people are literally drawn to it.
