I’ve been here a few times with some friends I enjoyed myself every time. Sure it’s not a fancy bar but it’s easy to feel at home here. From staff to patrons everyone was really nice. Jen the bartender is really sweet and kept my beers coming. Gotta love that! Lol The few times I’ve been there has been a live DJ playing music. All the new stuff, plus all the good old stuff. Owners are usually there always keeping an eye on the place which shows they care. I like that they have a pool table and a basketball game both only a dollar per play. I also rang in my birthday here! Everyone sang to me and bought me drinks even though not all of them knew me. Only complaint I have is the bathroom kinda smells like moth balls, which I hate the smell of. All this place needs is some new air freshener and it’s good to go! Thirsty Thursday anyone?

Im not going to lie the Old Gallery Bar isn’t you upscale after work city bar but the drinks are cheap. The music is good. Th bartenders are friendly and theres a pool table and dart board.
Doesn’t get the crowd till after hours like around 10pm or so but its cool. Very chill place to sit back and have a few drinks. I love the bartenders and will be Guest Bartending. Been a patron so many time guess its time to serve the drinks.
Stop on by. Drinks are like $ 5-​$ 7 bucks. Really you cant go wrong. Brooklyn!

This place sucks… I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and went to this place maybe 5 times since its next to where I live and the train station. The times I went were either Friday or Saturday night and each time was worse. They smoke in there, the music is awful and 4 times fights broke out. There are times coming home from other places I see cops outside of this bar. Maybe it’s different during the week but not a place to go on Friday or Saturday nights.

Went here once, will never go again. bottom shelf watered down liquor and who makes a jagerbomb with 7up? the atmosphere of the bar needs a facelift, and the owner needs to invest in some glasses… not plastic cups… seriously? they have a pool table in the back, and a dart board, and they play good rock music, other than that, its a dump. perhaps it was good at one point, but when i went, it was just bad.

WOW! What a great neighborhood Pub in the Parkville section of Brooklyn. Located on McDonald Ave just off 18^th Ave. It is super easy to get to, whether your driving or taking the subway (18^th Ave stop) The Staff was very friendly, and not only were the drinks great, but the prices won’t bust your wallet! After about 15 minutes you almost feel like you’ve been coming here for years. If your in the Bensonhurst/​Midwood/​or Boro Park area, stop in for a drink and a good time! You will find yourself coming back again, & again!!!
