The Historic Brick Walker Tavern

This place is so new and truly a fantastic place to stay. We were so busy with an event we manage at Michigan International Speedway that I simply forgot to take pictures however here is a great link to an article about this place along with photos:
I highly recommend this venue if you are ever in Michigan for work. It was such a great place to return to every evening instead of a hotel room. My coworkers and I enjoyed the amenities of home while being away from home. And the place was just so cool with all the antiques placed throughout and the knowledge of what materials the owner used while bringing this place back to life… adds the the place giving it a great story. Detroit native Nicole Curtis would be truly proud of this owner and venue.
Though there is still some work being done mostly outside it will be a beautiful venue for small weddings or corporate retreats. My coworker goes away with friends every January/​February to Deep Creek, Maryland but in 2016 this will be the new place after our recent stay.
And a quick shout out to Cyndi who we worked with on the reservation; she was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel truly welcomed. She’s a beautiful burst of energy who is more than willing to provide some highlights of the area.
Looking forward to staying here next year!
