We’ve been shopping everywhere for trees for our container garden, after last winter turned all the evergreens brown. Market Garden Center not only has the best tree selection, they’ve been the most helpful.
John is incredibly knowledgeable. He went out of his way get us right thing and help us take care of it. He insisted on selling us something cheap, because it’s unlikely anything in our space will last more than a few years.
Tip: he asks for pictures of the space where you’ll be planting. He wants to see what’s thriving and what isn’t, what the light’s like, etc. etc… And he’s old school – no iphone screens. Make him a print. He won’t make his recommendation before seeing this, so save yourself some time.
