Friendly, warm, and good produce. I love the vibe here. I love their queso oaxaca and usually you can get nice fresh espazote and jicama, too. The man behind the counter can pick avocados at magical ripeness. I always think he’s giving me some spoiled, bruised one, and it inevitably opens up to perfection. Reasonable prices.

This is a recent arrival in the neighborhood, maybe 2008 or 2009, operated by people from Mexico and most of their clientele is Latino mamas with kids in tow. The place is clean, organized and they have, in addition to staple American greens, amazing, fresh-to me exotic– vegetables and fruit from Mexico. The place is a bit less expensive or on par with supermarkets, but the fact that their produce is fresh makes it worth going there. Definitely a top of the line ethnic market.

Great service, really chill and friendly people. Owner is a really nice, warm, and open guy. Unfortunately, their fruits and veggies are often on the spoiled side, and most of the rest of the options are really unhealthy snack foods. Inexpensive melons, mexican cheeses, and freshly cut cacti are a nice bonus, but given that Ive purchased too many rotted fruits and veggies, cant really spend money here.
