This place is horrible. I have been harassed multiple times by one tenant in the garage. I follow the zipcar guidelines when traveling with my small dog, and every time I bring the car in, this tenant gets in my face about traveling with a dog in the car that «he’s going to get in trouble» over it, when I explain to him I have already checked with zipcar and it is OK to travel with my pet along the Zipcar guidelines. Not only do I keep my pet restrained but clean the car each time to assure it is in good condition when I return it without any pet hair. I just got home from a six hour car drive from New Hampshire only to be harassed by this one tenant. I’m looking into taking further steps to make sure no one else has to feel as uncomfortable as I do when renting a zipcar to this local garage.

It’s the same story for me. If you want to pick up your zipcar from this location BEWARE!!! It doesn’t matter how nice and patient you are trying to be, they treat you like a second class citizen. They are dismissive, unhelpful and down right rude. I understand that sometimes waiting a little bit can’t be avoided due to a long line of people and only one attendant. But having to wait 1 hour and 15mins to finally get your zipcar because the attendant keeps brushing you off is completely unacceptable. Thank god zipcar is a good company. Their customer service was able to extend my reservation with them due to the time I lost at the parking garage.
One last thing to add… when returning our car to the garage there was a different attendant on duty. We complained about what happened earlier and surprisingly he was very sorry and seemed genuine about it. Perhaps our experience would have been different if he had been helping us? But really, why take the chance at this place, especially when you are renting a zipcar and the clock is ticking with your reservation. NOT WORTH THE RISK. STAY AWAY.

My friends and I went here to pick up a zipcar. There was only one guy working and a line of people, so it took awhile for us to talk to him. Fair enough. Instead of helping he told us zipcars were parked along the street and walked off. So went up and down the whole block and didn’t see the car. We went back and the guy ignored us and/​or was actively hostile for FORTY-​FIVE MINUTES. He kept purposely serving people who had come after us. Eventually he looked inside the other levels of the garage for the zipcar and said it wasn’t there. We called zipcar and they told us there was some fluke where some other person was still in the car and they gave us another one. If he had just LOOKED for the car to begin with, we could have figured that out within 5 minutes instead of 45.
So after zipcar assigned us a new car, it took FOREVER the for the angry guy to help us (we were polite to him the whole time and didn’t do anything to make him mad). Again he purposely kept serving people who arrived after we did. In the end it took us over an hour to pick up a zipcar, something that at other locations literally takes zero minutes.

I have picked up Zipcars from this parking garage several times. Contrary to Zipcar’s instructions, they will not ready the car for you if you call ahead. Come early or be prepared to wait during busy hours. That’s not that big a deal, though.
What prompted me to write this review was an experience with a pathologically hostile employee who worked on Sunday Jan 2^nd, 2011. We were returning our car that afternoon and had a few minutes to spare. Unfortunately the entry was blocked by a few cars coming in /​going out. After a few minutes waiting, our car stalled in the driveway going into the garage. The car would not start again, possibly because the reservation had expired. I politely asked the attendee to use his card to move the car into the lot. He said, «no way.» I asked why and explained that my card was no longer starting the car. He then just started yelling at us for no real reason. The whole time we were being very polite and addressing him as «sir.» I reiterated that all we were asking is that he use his card to activate the car so that the car could be driven into the garage. We were with a stalled car, on the sidewalk, no more than 4 or 5 feet from the entrance. Inexplicably, he yelled at us some more turned around and walked away. Luckily I was able to get the car going again after a few minutes.
Weird, bizarre hostility. Avoid at all costs.
