These are the nastiest workers ever. The dark skin chubby girl with her head shaved at the sides is so rude. They argue with customers and ignore you on the floor when you need help. The dark skin Haitian guy grabs money from your hands and dumps change on the counter. I asked the girl to seperate my transaction today, she wanted to have a full argument about why I wouldn’t combine them? What the hell is their problem in here ?! Ugh if I don’t have an emergency and I have options I would never go in here.

For many years, this exact location used to be a tiny pharmacy the size of a thimble. No joke – from the entrance of the storefront to the counter where you’d pick up your meds, it might have been about 20 – 25 feet, if that. OTC inventory(limited to about three small shelves and displays at the checkout section) was about as miniscule as you would expect for a place of this size – so small that I wondered why the store even bothered stocking anything. You were better off just going to a 99 cent store to get your aspirin and indigestion tablets than coming here. Then Walgreens took over and saints be praised, it put in massive renovations and expanded the space and inventory about tenfold. So we went from having a small, rinky dinky, dingy store with barely anything to a full-fledged pharmacy/beauty supply/grocery store. Another plus to this Walgreens is that unlike other stores in this area that shut down between 7 and 8pm, it stays open until 10pm. So now residents are no longer screwed if it’s past 8pm and they want or need something. The only quibble I have about this Walgreens is the pricing and sales. Compared to other stores, everything seems to be 10−20% more expensive and their sales laughable. Their sales are made all the more laughable by the store practice of putting overpriced candy bars at the checkout stands and having their employees ask you if you want to buy them.(Erm, NO.) Don’t waste time coming here to buy brand name snacks or everyday household stuff that you could easily get at the supermarket, dollar store, beauty supply store or bargain basement for much cheaper. I would also shop around a little if I were looking into getting medical equipment and supplies(for example, at-home diagnostic machines, lancets, hearing aid batteries, etc.) As for the pharmacy itself, I’ve only had two experiences getting meds filled here, and both times had no issues. Service was prompt and professional, unlike Rite Aid, who I would never let handle my prescriptions, not even if I were dying and it were the last one on earth. So all in all, I think this is a pretty good Walgreens. I just wish their pricing was better. However, it’s definitely a huge improvement over what was there before, so I can’t really complain.
