Walgreens

Came in here bc we were looking at an hours wait for a pizza at difaras. As we walked by in the dreadful cold, we realized we needed hand soap and body wash.
As we entered it seemed warm and inviting but as we walked deeper in we realized this place has low ceilings and seems unorganized and unkept. & the order of things seems random. Not managed correctly. It’s not an impressive Walgreens .
Also. I picked up a hand soap and it was smeared all over the side of the bottle. I then went to the bath wash area and picked up a body wash and it was also smeared on the outside!
Anyway. This place is ok but is not a well oiled Walgreens.
On the plus side they have some products that the Walgreens by my house on kings highway doesn’t seem to have.

I am writing this strictly from the perspective of a visitor who needed to use the restroom and avoid ATM fees. They had a relatively clean public restroom I could use, and while it was a max of $ 20, I was able to get cash back while grabbing a cheap pack of gum. It was a busy Friday afternoon, but I didn’t wait long in line. Everyone working was helpful and pleasant. If you’re from out of town looking for what I was looking for, don’t be afraid, come on in.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. The employees are very disrespectful and they have something up their ass. Very unaccommodating to their customers. I waiting here for 3 hours before I got my medicine because they couldn’t get in touch with my insurance company. In the end I had to call the insurance company and go through the hassle for them. Never again will I use this pharmacy

An ok local drugstore. Conveniently located near a post office in case you need to get a Hallmark card.

I go here all the time. It’s a chain pharmacy. I’ve gotten my scripts in under 10 minutes, and sometimes it’s not ready for hours. Service is acceptable, the store is sometimes a pigsty though (especially the seasonal aisle).

Advertised sale products are rarely on shelf and if you make a request they must search the stock. This takes at least 15 minutes. Last time they came back with one incorrect request, one unavailable.
The «raincheck» items never appear again, not even after several months.
The pharmacy is good and most drugstore type items are available but food items on sale are rarely available.

This place is very neat and clean.
I asked 4 people for help, 2 thoroughly helped me out. Guided me to the item and made note of the requirements for the %-off deal. Pretty shocking considering this has never happened before.
–I did get stares from customers within the store. I don’t think I look strange, but I figure it’s Midwood & I don’t see anyone else with my complexion shopping, so eh. So be it.
Overall, a nice and quick place to pick things up.

When you need to use the bathroom, the following never helps the situation:
1. cold weather
2. the sound of running water
3. rain drops
4. a forty minute subway ride
5. drinking a can of soda
I was ready to do the pee pee dance. Luckily, Walgreens was just down the street and the Unilocaler I was with was absolutely sure they had a bathroom. We marched in and made a beeline to the back where there was a bathroom. It was locked by code and if you wanted to use it, the sign said that you had to show your receipt to the register.
The Non Unilocaler I was with said she had some stuff to buy and that would get me into the bathroom. Our group walked around the store checking out the bargains. If we bought 4 packages of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara we could get 40% off. There were also giant sized bottles of conditioner and magnifier rulers available for those with bad eyesight. ADD was rampant and all I had on my mind was the bathroom. I could not wait any longer so I went up to the register and asked the lady if she would give me the code for the bathroom. She told me to just use the second bathroom which was unlocked.
It’s a great feeling to be relieved. Thank God for Walgreens. My group ended up not buying anything in the store but we did use the facilities which were pretty clean as far as public bathrooms went. It was definitely cleaner than a Starbucks bathroom.
