Weinstein Stores

I believe the only place on Kingston Ave you can get keys made. But when it comes to most things this shop is majorly overpriced. If you can get out of the neighborhood to buy some of these items in this store you will definitely get a better price.

Came here when i lost my keys. They were very helpful and I don’t know how much more to say. Only thing is their hours are weird. I’ve passed middle of the day and they were closed. Best to call ahead. it is a family business.

As a relatively secular woman, it’s hard not to have a weird relationship with this place. I came in once two years ago and practically had to beg for customer service… Or eye contact. Or any acknowledgment of my existence. Maybe this was too easy an assumption, but I couldn’t help but imagine it was because I wasn’t a frum (religious, or at least outwardly religious, Orthodox Jewish) man. I swore I would never return. Nonetheless I found myself back this week. As it seems with almost everything in Crown Heights these days, the current staff of Weinstein’s is doing a great job of remaining steadfastly religious while successfully negotiating the modern world. Everyone I encountered went out of their way to be helpful although I was wearing jeans. Yasher koach, gentlemen!

I recently places an order from Weinstein’s through their website
and I could not have been happier. I placed my order late on Friday as Shabbat was approaching so I know I would not probably hear anything until at least Monday. On Sunday however I got a call from them in regards to my order.
When I talked to them, they just wanted to let me know that two things I ordered were currently out of stock. The light which covers which I had ordered 5 of they only had 3 in stock, however they were getting more in on Monday. They wouldn’t have been able to mail the package before Monday anyway but they still called to let me know this wasn’t shipping first thing in the morning.
The other item out of stock was a parve sponge holder. That they said was not coming in on Monday so they would not hold up my order just for it. I received my package with everything in it except for the sponge holder on Tuesday. They got everything together and mailed it out much quicker than I would have expected. I thought it would take at least a week to get everything, but it really was only 2 business days.
Thursday much to my surprise I got home and found another package on my door step, it was the sponge holder. I was blown away how they didn’t just hold off the order for a day or two to mail it all together. They definitely were quick and I couldn’t have asked for better service!
