Wingstop

I used a Unilocal check offer here for a free roll and the man at the register told me it needed to be printed out. PRINT OUT A CHECK IN OFFER?! From the Unilocal mobile app? Are you serious?
My wings were overcooked, DRY! I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. The wingstops in New York SUCK! who ever owns these franchises has taken a product with a cult following and made it trash. I’ve been to wingstops in Brooklyn, Harlem and queens and they have all Fallon short to their counterparts down south. The problem is they are not making the wings to order. Wings made to order was a slogan of wingstop. Nowadays it’s obvious that they have whored out their brand for the purpose of expansion. I’m done with this brand, they have lost my business.

Worst customer service ever. Mostly at night. I waited for 10 minutes and d girl at d counter didn’t even aknowledge none of us on d line. If they continued like that they will not last

I wanted to try this place and other than the fries I was not impressed. I believe they forgot where the salt was, because chicken wings had no seasoning. The Garlic Parmesan wings was just a fried chicken wing (that was fried hard, which I like) with sprinkle parmesan cheese no sauce no garlic no taste.
The Mild wings were better but oily and not seasoned either. The fries were great, I truly enjoyed them.
Also dont try using the #yelp check-​in code because the cashier and manager had no idea what I was talking about. No free roll! I just wanted to see what this was like and I saw. I wont be returning on my dime, but Im open to give another chance. And I’ll spring for the roll. #FalseAdvertising

I am not a big wing fan but these wings might change me. Lets begin on the location of this place– very busy Brooklyn spot even on that cold Tuesday night at 7pm. Due to the size of the store and no flashing lights or costume chickens on the outside I almost passed it. Inside was clean in the dining area. The self attend station was neat.
I am ok with a simple hello how can I help you with no extras or hi notes and wide eyes so the staff member taking my order was right on point. The wings get a 7 because they were cooked hard. I am not use to this style of frying. The price is high but the large amount of tasty fries over shadowed my desire to complain.
The only problem i noticed this day was the restroom was unkept and it wasn’t very bad so i am going to assume that they are on top of things most of the time. However the stor story wasn’t busy so there was enough time and staff on board for someone to attend to keeping it tidy. They really need to offer a Groupon for this business. When and if they do I will return.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Wings are average at best and both times I ate here they were served warm, not hot. They are large though, and come with a good sized order of fries. They have self-​serve soft drinks and refills are free. Glad I went by myself because the music volume is pumped way high. No way I would have been able to have a conversation without yelling. Finally, they keep the heat cranked way up. The cashier actually came from behind the counter and asked if it was warm in the dining area. I was sweating at the time. Thankfully I was done eating and on my way out or I would definitely have said something.

She helped me decided on which flavor to choose for my boneless wings as there are so many to choose from and I landed on Spicy Korean! The Hawaiian flavor is great as well.
If you stop by, please ask for Fatoumou. She’s excellent and very helpful!

Fatoumata is amazing. So nice. The food is bomb. Especially 60 cent wing Monday’s ! The music is always great and the location is perfect next to the train. Order in advance the app but don’t miss out on the Monday deals.

The food here is always fresh… made to order. They even have boneless specials on Monday and Tuesday, 60 cent each piece. All the sauces I’ve tried are tasty (korean, ranch, buffalo, Hawaiian). The employees are super nice too. Fatoumatu even knows me when I call in my weekly order, as does the manager and cook. Always worth a stop by, and the boneless taste great on salads (hint hint hint). Hey Rick Ross, What’s up with bone –in specials?

Blue cheese charged seperately and tasted watered down with ranch. I tried garlic Parmesan and Louisiana rub. The Louisiana rub was good, the garlic Parmesan had no garlic flavor. I had higher expectations… Overpriced.

I went to this location last night for the first time ever. Firstly I was greeted upon walking in with the brightest smile from the cashier named Fatoumata. Then she let me taste the different flavor and recommended what flavors I should get. I got the boneless mango wings. Fatoumata made my visit the best and I definitely will be going back to Wing stop!

I walked into Wingstop at 11:15 … I ordered 6 piece meal at 11:18. I was advised by the cashier (with the dreads) that it would be a 8 minute wait. At 11:58 I went to the cashier to ask about the wait she asked me «Did I still want to wait» No apology or Accommodation. I asked for a refund… On my wait out I heard her still telling people it was only a 8 minute wait… I will Never ever go back

Wings and fries is always good … The problem with this place is the customer service !! I called in three times in a row to be placed on hold for 5 – 7 minutes each time and the manager/​cashier who had a west indian accent was extremely rude ! As she told me she was the only cashier and only manager in the entire restaurant !! Unacceptable !! When she finally answered I played nice because I really wanted Wing Stop tonight but that is just ridiculous

Wingstop is good… until you have Wings To Go. It’s less expensive here, with lots of parking on the street (for Brooklyn standards — if you drove here). The wings are a bit too dry for my taste. Still good, but not amazing.

Well, the fact that my boyfriend was treated like a criminal and forced to find his ID when using a DEBIT card for purchase was terrible. He misplaced his ID and so I decided to pay for dinner with my DEBIT card. The cashier then asked me ‘Have you ever had problems with this card?’ At that point I knew the bullshit was coming. She tells me my card isn’t being read and then wraps it in receipt tape and proceeds to swipe it. Now, I may be wrong but if isnt swiping while bare why would it swipe with receipt tape over it. I then had to leave the restaurant and use a JENKY ATM across the street in the dirtiest deli I have ever seen to withdraw cash for some wings and fries. I definitely won’t go back to wing stop and if I change my mind ‘Nostrand Ave location’ is a NO GO!
If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Wings, wings and more wings!!!
I can’t usually complain when I eat here but today I tried the boneless wings for he first time since they are .60 mon and tues and today is Tuesday. I thought I’d order the same flavors I usually get with the bone in wings, I mean it’s the same thing right??? Wrong. My love for lemon pepper spans across continents but for some reason on boneless wings not soo much. It was just so salty. I was soooo disappointed and in need of tons of water.
I was not a fan of the bbq sauce on the boneless either.
Am I he only one that notices a different taste between the two?
Maybe i just need to branch out and try different flavors for the boneless. Maybe next tues when I can experiment for cheap.

I went to this wing stop today and ordered 8 wings and fries. The fries were okay but once I went to eat the wings I was shocked. The wings were smaller than my finger. They were really tiny without any meat on them. Like they got the cheap pack of wings from the supermarket. I’ll never go to this wing stop again.
The wings were so small they gave me 5 of each instead of the 4 of each.

It’s because of wingstop I live putting lemon pepper on everything

I ordered 5-​piece boneless combo on Tues ³⁄₁₀. And despite a huge poster by the counter promoting .60 boneless wings a la carte Mon/​Tues — I was told I couldn’t order less than 5. (I wanted to add 3 to my order). So I didn’t. My small order took 35 minutes. THIRTY FIVE MINUTES. And what did I get for the wait? Flavorless, soggy, greasy fries. Fresh cut? Who cares! They are so bad. And the wings! Oh God, the wings! They were chicken knuckles — if anything. I’ve never seen anything so tiny, shriveled, and unappetizing. If they were sold for .10 a pop, well okay. But they’re not.
With signs everywhere touting their fresh-​made-​to-​order policy, this place seems big on catchphrases and gimmicks, but sadly lacks taste and quality. I hope something of quality can fill this retail spot. I paid $ 9 for garbage.

Update:
I am happy to report that I was contacted by Wing Stop publicly as well as privately (on Wed 11^th Fed only a few days after my visit and review) to address the shortcomings I observed. Now THIS ACTION is eaxctly what Customer Service is all about. 5 stars!
I was also misinformed, they do have buffalo wings, ask for the original hot flavor! Ill be back.
