Really terrible service and attitude. They sold me and my kids skates that fit poorly, convincing us that ‘that’s how skates are’. They give a whole song and dance about how knowlegable they are. Its BS. By the way — don’t even try to return products. They are really difficult about it.
Go to West Side Skate, in Manhattan. Hockey skates don’t have to hurt. I’ve since replaced all of our gear, and Wonderland was the problem. We skate with pleasure now.

I went here for the first time after getting some questionable service from their branch in Chelsea Piers. However, these guys are on top of their game.
Good help is hard to find these days, but the guys at Wonderland know their hockey. I needed a new blade for my hockey stick, and not only did they have a decent selection to choose from (some more righty blade would have been nice) but they knew which blade was best for the street surface I play on. Very cool. They also took my old blade off and attached the new one while I waited.
Their in-​store displays could use a little touching up, as could their jersey selection, but this is a very decent hockey shop, if you don’t mind going out to 66^th and 11^th for their expertise.
