We came in on a Friday evening and there were only a few people. I ordered the Bandana burger, which came with bacon and a fried egg. It was AWESOME. I couldn’t finish it, but it was incredible. Fries were great too — they were homemade. No frozen patties. We’ll definitely be back.

We have never had a burger this good in all our travels. The buns taste homemade, the meat is hand ground in house… the sausage is made here as well. Their fresh ingredients make it worth the small wait. This is the place for great cobbler, fresh ice tea, hand cut fries, and fresh catfish on Fridays. The burgers are big enough for two… but we won’t share. The breakfasts are legendary and the chef often will create something not on the regular menu. The wait staff is excellent and the place is worth the drive. This is not a franchise but an old school wonderful burger place!

Overpriced, salmon patties were burnt, way too salty… very disappointed

Just like the name, I’m divided about this place, then again it is new, and maybe the few surprises will get smoothed out over time. There is a choice for the customer here, the daily special, or order off the menu. For us it was fried catfish with 4 sides and bread putting. The food was great, catfish was clean which means quality. Served right to you, fantastic stuff. But when you order from the menu, it took more than 30 minutes. Made for a very awkward experience for the menu pickers spectating on gobs of golden fried fish being consumed at record pace. Then there is the tattoo show, just ask the waitresses, and maybe the personalized entertainment is what will put this place on the map. Food is Great, service is fantastic, ordering from the kitchen however is strictly off the menu.

One of the best burgers I have had in Houston. Must try. Great atmosphere. Staff is a little unprofessional but it’s a small town

Saw this place on Unilocal coming home on I-10 one Sunday and gave it a try… Wow… Wow! This is their no cheese Rio Grande burger with fresh jalapenos added Think it should be renamed the dragonslayer! Beautifully textured patty light and airy bun, piled high with cilantro pico de gallo and spring mix. 10 out of 10 for presentation. 9 ½ out of 10 for the burger itself but I really can’t tell you what it was missing. Definitely top five lifetime burger — really outstanding! Smiling friendly service is always a plus. Thanks!

A great find just off of I10 on Hwy 90. We had a wonderful breakfast with great service. They make their own sausage which complemented the breakfast. If you are in Katy or Fulshear this is just 15 minutes away and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are planning on returning for dinner in the near future.

Great place for breakfast and lunch during the week. Excellent fresh food that is wonderfully prepared. Their hamburgers and home cut fries are extraordinary. And the real gem is on Friday and Saturday evenings, they are open for fine dining with unique seasonal dinner specials. Exquisite and Yummy!

So excited to have a restaurant serving fresh, delicious food in Brookshire! I love that everything is sourced from local producers and made from scratch. Even the hamburger meat is ground in house! If you’re in the area for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s definitely worth the stop!
