My favorite tacos in all of Texas so far!!! Best Gordita! I’m a little Gordita now too :) I’d drive to Houston every day if I could, just to pass by this place. Gracias!

I had the five tiny double corn tortillas with beef, cheese and avocados. Very good. I had coffee as it was a cold night and the coffee was not the freshest. It also had a cinnamon hint if you like that which I don’t. The horchata that my husband had was really tasty however. He had enchiladas which he thought were just so so, but he thought the potatoes and bean that came with were great and he’s not normally a potato or bean fan. We’d come again, he’d try something different, I was happy with mine, but need a different drink. The dessert looked good but we were too stuffed to indulge. Maybe next time

Was out in the middle of no where and everyone was hungry! Needed a place were I could get some good food that wasn’t fast food… checked Unilocal and found this amazing place! They good was so good! Had a request for a special needs diet and they did everything in there power to help! If you are ever in the area check this place out!

I have not had anything closer to real Mexican food in Katy area. The enchiladas are great and are not Tex-​Mex style. My fiancé had the tacos and she has been wanting to go back since.
We live on the other side of town but will be making a special trip just to eat at Tacos y Tortas again.

I probably eat here once a month or every other month, and when I do the manager is RUDE! She definitely has here favorite customers, but every time I’ve gone in and she’s there she makes rude gestures.
As far as the food it’s great! No complaint about that! :)

My friend Delmar said the tacos here are the best this side of the equator. That bastard has never been west of I 35. Well there was that time he went to Vegas and got a «massage» at 3am.

I’m giving it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement but I love this place. I lived in Mexico for a long time and I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like… this is the closest to it I’ve found in the 10 years I’ve been in Texas.
The tacos, Caprichos on their menu, are the best I’ve had in the greater Houston area. The meat is well prepared and they give double corn tortilla like traditional Mexican tacos. The gorditas and enchiladas are amazing too. Don’t expect your typical ground beef and cheese enchiladas, these are traditional Mexican enchiladas.
Their Aguas Frescas are great too… Horchata and Lemonade are my favorite [or Limade I guess they call it in the U. S]
They have 2 other locations in Katy. One is a «To Go» and the one on Westgreen is their largest and nicest location.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s into authentic Mexican food.

Well we were looking forward to trying this place however they were closed! Hours say they are open at 7am on Saturdays and we got there at 8:30am and there was not a sole in sight!

I came here with determination to eat breakfast tacos. Unfortunately, I missed the cutoff time. However, I decided to have lunch anyway since this place is like an hour from home and may I say… I have no regrets. Shrimp tacos were on point! My kids had the chicken quesadilla plate which they seem to enjoy it a little more than the regular joint we would pop into.

Great food, we stayed in the hotel across the street. Convenient location, but watch out for the parking lot, it’s riddled with huge pot holes that a small car could literally get stuck in.

San Antonio, TX
We stopped by on our way back to San Antonio and even our finicky daughters liked their food. The Adrian’s special tacos (sin crema, que no me gusta la crema) were excellent, and the entomatadas and enchiladas were very good. The owners clearly take pride in food quality – something I rarely find in most Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in San Antonio. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.

This place is consistently great. We stop in every trip through Brookshire. Ordered the #4 tacos and the #27 enchiladas. The green sauce is hot for folks that don’t do hot, so look out.

So good! I eat out a lot and rarely write reviews – this Mexican food is fresh and simply delightful – light and yet very flavorful and filling. Even the chips and salsa strike that balance. Bare bones ambience but barely noticed. Well worth hopping off of I10 on the Austin/​Houston drive.

This place was easy to find, off I-​10, and provided a welcome alternative to the usual fast food stops. It seems to be a family business, the concern for getting it right was apparent from hola to adiós. Good food prepared with fresh ingredients. The tortillas are really especial. Essential to good tacos.

Five words… You gotta try this place! Ok, not perfect grammar, but really checkm them out. They have a dinner for 4 at $ 19.99. It is plenty of food and you have some choices. I’ve been there several times and each time the food was yumilicious. I have not had a bad meal at Adrians.
I love the tortas, and so do my girls. The servings are appropriate and I always walk out full. Definately give this place a try.
