One of the nicest breweries I have ever been too! Seriously, the attention and work that went into the detail throughout this place is obvious. It is large, open, spacious and welcoming. The newly updated beer garden(they expanded the turf) is beautiful. There was a large wedding going on while we were there but the service was still very attentive and quick. The staff was extremely helpful with assisting us to find a beer we liked. We took a tour which was cool too if you are into that sort of thing. They have the best sangria I have ever had, made in house too. Definitely recommend trying it. We didn’t eat while we were there but they had barbecue on their menu as well as Carabbas on location offering to order and deliver. The owners are great people and we could tell they take a lot of pride in their place. We will definitely be back again in the near future!

Love this place! First time here and the beer is great, atmosphere is fun and even the pours that are not theirs are still local. Dog friendly and bbq truck on site(this switches with other trucks on rotation). I usually have to travel to Tampa for an experience like this. Love it!

Only went once. Boring, small, hate the«family style» seating, hippy playing guitar outside(ugh, how annoying), not a single tv for sports. Yeah, boring.

I live in the craft beer capital of the country — PORTLAND, ORE. — so I’ll be honest when I say that I didn’t have very high hopes for this brewery in po’dunk Brooksville. My sister lives in the area and I was in town visiting her and my newborn niece. She suggested we get away for some sister time and told me about this new brewery down the road from her. Sure, I’m always down to try a new brewery! Much to my surprise, the interior made me feel like I was back at home — with the big wood bars, the communal seating, the barstools. Taps lined the wall and the shining beer-making equipment was visible. We opted for the 6-taster flight to see what Marker 48 had to offer. We took our flight out to the back patio where we were pleasantly greeted by live music, lots of seating, and fun yard games. If it weren’t for the 90% humidity, it would have genuinely felt like I was home! Overall, Brooksville brews aren’t giving Portland a run for their money any time soon, but they were enjoyable and it’s good to see craft beer starting to make a mark in new areas of the country. Would definitely come back on my next visit to FL.

Great example of a local Florida Craft Beer Brewery. The Beers were very nice, and the establishment and atmosphere were great. However, our group won’t be returning anytime soon until they eliminate all of the school aged children running around. When adults get the chance to go out to an adult establishment for adult drinks, the last thing they want to deal with is other people’s kids. Otherwise, Very Nice!

Love that this is a dog friendly place. Very chill atmosphere and get to come and watch the games or just show friends the area that are out of town

Love taking an old oil change place and turning it into a great redone space for a brewery!!! Beer was pretty tasty, I liked the selections. Perfect spot for a cold one after a paddle on the Weeki Wachee.

Marker 48 is a really cool place. They took an old oil change location and made it into a very cool brewery and bar including outdoor beer garden. They kept the underground Bay that used to be used for oil changes and converted it to a private room and storage for barrel aging beers. I attended There very first bottle release party, a dipa style beer that was aged in a natural spring. They also had the blowup big screen out in the beer garden and since it was May forth had a special showing of the newest Star Wars movie outside. I really like the way this bar is decorated the staff is friendly & urges you to ask questions. The prices are average the selection is good. You can get flights to try several at one time so you don’t have to commit to one large beer. They offer tours but only on Saturday. The only reason I didn’t give them the fifth star was because I wish there were more days offered for tours. This is one of our favorite spots to stop on the way home after a trip to wiki for kayaking. A cold craft beer and a bite to eat always hits the spot. They have a barbecue food truck that has been there every time I visited and I assume is a permanent food vendor. However last night for the special release they also offered a pizza selection which was very good. We will continue to visit marker 48 and enjoy their craft beers and I do hope that we make it on a Saturday and are able to do the tour as I find those very interesting. I also really like that they have local photography of the area on the walls.

Great brewery just off toll road. Good beer and pizza. Sarah was great bartender that helped us pick out our drinks. Let’s us sample quite a few so we got just the right one.

I’ve never been to a place like this. It’s a craft brewery. They have tours on Saturday. After the tour you get a 16 ounce beer and souvenir glass. It’s a bargain. Free samples. They have food trucks outside. Games outside and inside. They have ping pong. I will be back. Great and friendly staff.

It’s hard to find any problems with this place. Helpful, friendly, and beer. I have meetings there with friends(church friends!) and am always looking for more excuses to meet there. If they turn water into beer, and Jesus turned water into wine, they are clearly on the right track. The only problem(this isn’t a problem) is that some Americans have a certain idea what beer is – a pilsner. Something in the Coors Light family of beverages. Tastes good after mowing the lawn mixed with sweat and grass clippings. They don’t serve that sort of beer. If you are looking for a «plain ol’ beer» as one of my friends called it, just ask and they’ll give you something as close to that as possible. But this is not a place for traditional pilsner. It’s more adventurous than that. Final note I haven’t tried the food cart outside yet, but I hear good things about it. Will update when I finish extensive research.

I can NOT believe that this place is in Brooksville/Spring Hill! I lived here for 10 years before moving to Orlando and I would have loooved a spot like this when I was still there. Luckily, I’m in the area frequently to visit family and friends, and this will most definitely be a stop on every trip. When my friend told me there was a new brewery in the area, I was super skeptical about how good it could be. But wow, a place like this would not look out of place even in a bigger city like Orlando. It looks very impressive — nicely decorated and trendy with lots of rustic wood and industrial type lights, etc. It’s cool. There’s an outdoor area and on the Saturday I visited, they had a live country/rock band playing that was actually pretty good. The place was popping, but that wasn’t surprising. Before this place, I don’t know of any bars that young people would ever go to in the area(everyone goes to Tampa instead), and the only late night hangout was Dunkin Donuts or Taco Bell. But even with a bunch of people in there, my friend and I still found a seat without people crowding around us. Ok, so now the actual beer. I can’t say I’ve tasted enough beers yet to be a hardcore connoisseur, but I’ve been known for some beer snobbery. Both of the drinks I ordered were very good. I tried their Witbier, the Knot Witty, made with plums. It was delicious! I followed that up with their Mrs. Peachman(?) and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly sweet as I expected. It was good too, although not as good as the Knot Witty, in my opinion. My friend ordered a Sangria, which was tasty too. Another cool feature is that they have both a BBQ food truck and a pizza stand outside if you get hungry. You can bring the food inside to eat at the tables which is very convenient. I know that they have a Tasting Room and offer tours as well, so I’m definitely going to do that the next time I’m in town. I’m so excited to see a place like this here! The team behind Marker 48 did a wonderful job and I think this is much-needed addition to area.

Is this really in Hernando County? Wow, what a great surprise. We enjoyed a lot of really tasty craft beers here(and one nasty pisswasser). I suggest getting a flight sampler then; SLAINTE, PROST, and BOTTOMSUP! This place was very well thought out and brought to life. So many things you have to see for yourself. The outside beirgarten area is awesome. The employees were all very nice and welcoming. The entire place was well kept. Still can’t believe this is in Hernando County.

Finally a brewery has come to town! This place is awesome — everything from the décor, atmosphere, drinks, staff and entertainment. I’ve visited Marker 48 several times now and it’s always a good time whenever I go. They change their beer selection quite often so it’s fun to try the new selections. If you’re not a fan of beer they do offer local wines, sangria and champagne. They do not sell food inside but they usually have at least one food truck on site and you’re more than welcome to bring in your own food from other places.

I can’t say enough good things about this brewery! Within a minute of walking in, one of the employees came over to explain the menu to me and suggest beers for my palette. Vic, the beertender, was nice, offered unlimited samples, replaced an overly yeasty pour, and came over and checked on us multiple times. He even asked if we wanted to talk to the brewers(of course we did!) and introduced us. Tina and Maurice, the owners, told us all about renovating the auto shop into an adorable bar and event room. They’ve really put a lot of effort into both the space and the brews. It’s hard to believe they’ve only been open a couple of months with beer like that! They’ve already started pouring goses and other lesser-known beers. They are barrel-aging several beers in their event space downstairs. They are smartly using the old oil-changing platforms to hold the barrels and it looks like a speakeasy down there. It would make a fun place for a party! This brewery is one-of-a-kind for the area!

Quirky, fun and energetic. This craft brewery is definitely one of my favorite new spots in town. Their craft beers are amazing, the atmosphere is great, and be sure to catch their live music when they have it out there. They have plenty of games, tons of seating, and if you want a bite to eat, there are a few different food trucks just outside(I’ve tried 2 so far — Barbiecue and Surf and Turf — both were great.) Good vibes, good people and good brews. I love it. PS — They have awesome sangria. This is coming from a guy that doesn’t generally like sangria.

What a wonderful brewery! I dont even know where to start… the beers were great. Elf under a shelf and red right return were mighty tasty. The tour was awesome, i highly recommend doing the last tour of the day @1700 Price William was our bar mate. He was fun and knowledgeable about the beers and helped pick some for us to sample. Live music, cornhole and an awesome outdoor courtyard, with LSU turf, and a ping pong table make me want to north just to become a regular. Great job on atmosphere, BEERS and fun. Can’t wait to head back!

Amazing new craft beer brewery in a part of the area that sorely needs it. The owners have created a welcoming and cool new environment to quaff their tasty brews. Very comfortable seating, indoors and out. Also food trucks on the scene in case anyone gets hungry. Like that never happens after drinking great craft beer !! Check this one out.
