Finally found a truly professional tree service! Having a friend back home who was a distributor for (tree) equipment sales, parts, etc. and held Arborist training classes, upon arrival for the job we immediately noticed that this trained Arborist team is properly equipped with Arborist Equipment & Gear. Very impressed with the owner and his crew, their work performance, their additional trimming (which we were not charged for) and their clean up. After previously experiencing a (bad bad choice) another local company that charges ½ of the ‘going rate’ we had hired last year, we were extremely pleased with this wonderful top notch crew. Remember you get what you pay for — this crew worked with no breaks until the job was done and cleaned up every last bit of tree debris. 10 Stars if we could !

If there was a lower score to give than one, I would gladly give this company that score. I wanted them to come look at my Dad’s oak tree and give me a rate that they would charge to do some light pruning. My Dad is 87 years old and lives alone with eldercare and me flying to Florida several times a year to help. These people visited him, when he was alone. He has about one third of an acre of property with two trees and mostly grass. I do most of the horticultural work, when I’m there. Hence, all they needed to do was look at the tree.
They went all around the property wanting to prune the other tree, our bushes, put down mulch and finally prune the tree that I wanted from them in the first place. They left my Dad an estimated bill of $ 2,700 which is what they called a discount. Somehow, I don’t think my Dad’s age helped with this estimate. We never asked for anything but that they look at the one tree. When I confronted them with their greedy behaviors and asked for the price on the one oak tree, they wanted a whopping $ 500.
That’s the most expensive pruning that I’ve had quoted to me. I live in California, where prices are high. I can get three people to prune many of my trees for a whole day at a $ 700 rate. These people are clearly out to take your money. I hope they don’t make a habit of preying on the elderly.
