Yes, this is a state store, but as good as they get. It has a carpeted section for more upscale wines, and a walk-in chiller for very upscale wines. Parking is terrible but good news: there’s extra parking behind the nearby Barnes & Noble. For people who buy wine/spirits in wholesale quantities, this store probably has what you want, but I recommend you go to the dedicated wholesale store at 629 Park Way down the street instead.

Not much to say here. Most PA Wine & Spirits I’ve been to are usually okay. For the most part, they have what I need when I shop here. Last Christmas I wanted to get my Father-In-Law a bottle of Glenlivet 25 Year Scotch. They didn’t have any in stock, but they kindly ordered it for me.

Ho-hum PA state run store with average selections of wine and spirits. Ok staff. Convenient location.

I stopped in to this W&S on Saturday before Christmas and it was pretty chaotic. But there was a big guy there answering everyone’s questions in rapid succession with accuracy and good humor. I should have gotten his name so I could include it in this review but I did not. The selection is strong(for PA anyway) at this location. Regarding the parking: I HATE the parking spots at Lawrence Park shopping center. They are waaaaay too narrow. And its because there aren’t enough spots for all the stores there. It’s a shopping center that I tend to avoid if possible. Back to the store’s review… its unlikely that I’ll give any PA liquor store a rating greater than 3 stars until we move into the 1950’s and privatize the system. But this one is pretty good under the current arrangement.

PA stores come in different flavors and this is a «Premium» store. That’s means there is a bigger selection of the good stuff. As it’s in Lawrence Park Shopping Center, parking is a breeze.
