Stopped by here to buy some wine to find out they don’t sale alcohol in regular every day stores in Colorado. We did however pick up a few baking items and chips for the kids to snack on. Place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Got an email at 5am with Big Lots ads. They were advertising a bucket of cookie cutters for 10.00. Arrived at Big Lots at 10:30 am to get my cookie cutters. Nobody knew what I was talking about. I showed the salesperson my email. Still didn’t know anything about it and really didn’t seem to care, for that matter. Lesson learned. Why do I shop here? This happens every time. I then went to the dollar store and purchased exactly what I was looking for at 1.00. I just saved nine dollars.

I had just recently been transferred with work to our Broomfield location and noticed the Big Lots just South West of me. With a desire to «spice up» my location of employment(nothing over the top but perhaps subtle, inexpensive décor) I decided to check it out. Immediately I found something I had been looking for, but wasn’t expecting to find there! I was overjoyed! I wanted to continue shopping but I was in the final week of that bug type flu that was going around and had to quickly check out! I believe the casher knew i wasn’t feeling well, I don’t hide things too too well, and she was quick and stressed to hold on to my receipts in case I need to make a return. She even proceeded to go as far as plugging it in to the wall to show me how they work, and with a subtle smile reminding me «if there was anything wrong with them to keep my receipt. and something else, I really wish I had heard but I had to go. Stomach turned, you know the rest! Reflecting back, her going above and beyond for me while I was feeling sick and vulnerable is appreciated! Thanks!

Good place to go when you want to get common everyday items like household cleaners and stuff like that since it is usually less expensive here. This location sometimes has clearance items below .25 cents which is a added bonus!

Here’s the deal, I really have never understood the point of Big Lots and I really ruh-heely still don’t. What, someone makes too much of something and so it’s in the contract that it ends up at Big Lots? hmmm, sounds a little bit like something ‘fell off a truck’ but I digress. This particular location is nice as far as Big Lots go. Clean, organized, etc. There always seems to be some small construction project happening just outside the entrance and the people at the registers never make eye contact w/me but that could all tie in to the ‘back of a truck’ part of it, who am I to say. Big Lots Broomfield, if you have to get ‘stuff’ this is as good a place as any!

This has got to be the cleanest, neatest, most organized Big Lots I’ve ever been to. I love their deals on storage bins and school supplies. The only bummer that I could see was the fact that there is no shopping cart ramp to the parking lot at the door. You have to go 20 feet to the west or 40 feet to the right to get a ramp. Not convenient. Also(OK that means the other one wasn’t the ONLY bummer…) the doors are not automatic, and I’m a «return your shopping cart to the store» kinda girl, and I just found my self growling and grumping because it’s virtually impossible to open doors and push a shopping cart at the same time. I was tempted to leave my cart in the parking lot that would, of course, increase costs and cause car dings. Hmmmph.

I am actually impressed by this particular Big Lots. I’m used to them seeming a little bit run-down and seedy, but this location is definitely an exception. The store is spotless, well-organized, and well-maintained. The staff are courteous and helpful, and I’ve found all sorts of goodies that I completely didn’t expect — tools, electronics, and kitchen supplies, as well as a few special food items — I hope that’s not the last of the whole berry syrups! A fortuitous find was large numbers of energy drinks, at rock bottom prices — the«Sport Energy» despite the humble-looking cans, are the best tasting energy drinks I’ve tried. Again, I hope this isn’t the last I see of them! The only«con» I can think of, offhand, is that for some reason, whenever I go in, the regular cash registers are closed, and I’m forced to use their kind of inconvenient customer service counter(especially annoying when I’m making a large purchase). Other than that, I’m fairly impressed by my experience at this store. I haven’t had as good experiences with others in the chain, but the folks at this location make it rise above.
