My husband and I had the worst experience at this dentist office. I didn’t have a good feeling about this office as soon as I walked in the door. I should have listened to my gut but instead I stayed to find out just how right I was about my bad feelings. First the dental hygienist took pictures of all of my teeth, pictures not x-Rays and she informed me that I had about 9 cavities that needed filling, she then proceeded to take the x-Rays. I never even saw the dentist that day and already had a treatment plan laid out for me. When I went back for my cleaning they used the water pressurized cleaner which I have since found out is not appropriate for the shallow gum pockets that I have, no wonder it was so painful! Afterward I finally saw the dentist and he brought up the pictures again and confirmed the dental hygienist’s treatment plan plus about 20 other things I needed done including braces. Now if I had rarely gone to the dentist I could see if I needed this type of work done but I have healthy teeth and go to every 6 month visit. Since going to this dentist I have gotten two second opinions and I don’t have any cavities and don’t need braces like Dr. Marogil recommended. My question is, if they would have filled my «cavities», what in the world would they have been drilling away at? My healthy teeth.

I tried this place and there are some pretty cool cameras that get an intense inside look to your mouth. Beware though, this dentist wants you to get as many fixes as possible, even if you don’t really need them. If chances are you won’t be able to afford it, they don’t follow up with you.

This dentist office should be avoided at all costs. Here’s why: I asked for a full estimate of the dental services that were needed several weeks prior to the day of my appointment to get the treatment. I requested that they submit a preauthorization to my insurance company, as well. On the day of the appointment, I was shown the pre approval and estimate. I agreed to the services listed on both of the documents and went back to the dental chair. After the dental treatment was complete, I was told by the office manager, that more work had done, than what I had authorized and that I would owe an additional $ 600. I refused to pay and and received not one satisfactory explanation of why I was not informed of this supposed additional treatment, prior to it being done. I complained to my insurance company and the state dental board, to no avail. This dental office is now threatening to send my account to collections.
