Yummy Thanksgiving Brunch. Excellent service and the food was very good. Loved the fresh jumbo shrimp, salmon, turkey, beet salad and the best mashed potatoes I’ve had in my life. The bottomless mimosa was an extra special treat. Best of all I don’t have to cook or clean. $ 186 for family of 4. We should do this every year!

My wife and I had a number of meals here while staying at the hotel. The breakfast buffets were very nice, pretty typical omni«art of breakfast» but they also added some nice meats and smoked salmon. The dinner was excellent. My wife’s cabcake was huge, and she said very good. my meal was Impressive. I had the bison tenderloin. Cooked perfect and was smoked a bit to had another layer of flavor. Wine list is solid, nothing too great or too overpriced.

I was at the Omni for business and had no other choices for breakfast so ate at Meritage for 4 days in a row. It was busy in there each day so I would be a little forgiving. Day 1: No one greeted me for about 5 minutes and then they didn’t really know where to put me since I was alone–(I would figure lots of people dine alone in a business type hotel). There was another guy sitting at the bar by himself so I said that would be fine. He was drinking juice, but did not have any food in front of him. I opted not to have the buffet because I had 50 minutes before my meetings. I was given coffee and ordered an omelet. I was told it would be about 10 – 15 minutes because of being busy. I understood and waited, and waited. I do not even know who my waitress was, but I was offered more coffee by someone else. The other guy still didn’t have food. I waited. After 30 minutes I flagged someone down and said I had ordered an omelet but it still hadn’t come. I waited and waited. Then I laughed with the other guy who had also never been given his food. We waited a few more minutes. No one ever came back, apologized or anything else. We left. I enjoyed the free coffee. Day 2: Only out of what I thought now was necessity to eat so I got the buffet. I still just wanted an omelet. But after watching the omelet guy throughly brown and flatten out the omelets and burn another I just opted for veggies and over easy eggs on top(figured that would be the best way to not get them burned). The bacon is absolutely the most delicious. the fruit was good and my coffee was kept filled. All the other stuff looked fine and they had a nice assortment, but it was still not a $ 19 buffet. For that there should be some prime rib and LOTS of choices that are irresistible, but it’s not. Day 3: The omelet guy was not working, but a nice lady who had to ask me 4 times what I wanted in my omelet and I watched her make the folks after me with the wrong stuff. Apparently«just ham» mean put spinach, mushrooms, onions and peppers and no ham. Again, great bacon and the omelet was fine after she got it correct. Day 4: I had a great waiter finally who was friendly and kept my coffee full, this time the omelet guy was back. I still wanted my omelet, it’s what I do– I eat eggs and veggies. So I specifically told him I did not want it brown, but rather okay with slightly runny eggs instead. He made it and it was over cooked– not burned, but not delicious. $ 19 again, had a small cup of fruit which was nice and an over cooked omelet. On my next visit, I think I bring a hot plate and a pan.

One of my favorites in Colorado– the Beat breakfast buffet I have had in years. I’m originally from Chicago and I’m a big foodie! Service is the best! I love this restaurant

Upon entering we should have known there was a problem. Only 2 tables occupied on a Friday night? Although pleasant, the wait staff appeared less than happy to be there– Cant say I blame them with no customers. Started with Lobster Bisque– Great presentation but watery and bland, The steaks were cooked correctly but little seasoning and one of them was so tough that ¾ went uneaten. One would think that when the waiter asked if we’d like the steak boxed to go and the answer was«no» the next logical question might be if there was a problem w/the steak. Instead the plate was cleared and check delivered.(clearly poor training) I could get a better steak at Texas Roadhouse for 1⁄3 of the price. Worst $ 200 meal I’ve ever had.

All the staff was trying hard, but it was an okay breakfast buffet. I enjoyed the smoked salmon the most. They had a large selection of breads, what I had was okay. Organized stuff could easily bring this up a notch.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! What a GEM!!! Been twice in the last week!!! FAB food &FAB wait staff! Not to mention the view is wonderful! If I had one tiny small complaint it would be the crackers & toasted bread that comes with the meat/cheese board. Both were really bad, for this type of price/atmosphere please upgrade/change those awful/stale crackers & get better toasted bread :) Otherwise GREATJOB!!!

This restaurant continues to be one of my all-time favorites! There’s so much to love about it! The wait staff is top notch. The food is very foodie-worthy! The wine list is above average– and I’m picky! Last night I had the Salmon. It was perfectly cooked. My friend had the sea bass, which was absolutely deLISH! We were well taken care of by Frances during a period that was very busy for the restaurant. The sommelier, Dana, even took the time out to visit and take our questions about the wine. In fact, I was describing to him how my shiraz from the Barossa valley tasted much like a pinot noir, and that I actually liked my friend’s wine better which was from Willamette Valley, OR,(I typically don’t like). He took a closer look and realized that the wines were accidentally swapped. So he took them off the bill! This restaurant is indeed a real treat and a nice place to bring out of towners. It is a foodie menu– so expect a foodie price. After dinner we hung out at the outdoor fire pit and chatted. It was lovely!

Based on Unilocal!recommendations, we decided to try Meritage for breakfast. It’s inside the the Omni Interlocken Resort. We arrived and a were not acknowledged. A couple from the resort arrived after us and the hostess acknowledged them and placed them on the waiting list before us which, irritatingly enough, the couple did not acknowledge. We joined them sitting at the bar waiting to be seated. Each of us was told 10min +. The couple was seated inside of 3min. We sat for nearly 12min. When we were finally seated, we were seated at a table that was unoccupied when we arrived and remained unoccupied for the entire time that we were waiting. Ok, fine… We sat admiring the view for a while. After what felt like too long a nice woman came by to take our drink order. She was pleasant enough. The floor manager came by shortly after and again tried to take our drink order. She too was pleasant enough. Finally, a third woman took our order and was never to be seen again. We elected to sample the buffet so as to get a taste of everything. I must say that the food on the buffet was fresh and, for the most part, excellent. My only nit about the food was that the smoked salmon and the eggs were kind of meh and there was not any plain cream cheese available when we went through the line. From a flow point of view, it was difficult to determine where the line began and ended which lead to a couple of collisions with other guests as were were jockeying for position to get at the food. We agreed as we ate that food was good albeit quite pricey for our tastes. It would be a nice place to take someone special who happened to be visiting but certainly not the kind of place that we would attend more than a couple of times per year especially with all the other breakfast options available in the area.

Nice atmosphere, very polite helpful servers. I had the Prime Steak. Super yummy. Some of the menu was confusing. They could do a better job describing the meal. I didn’t know I was getting French fries with my meal. It’s also a very fancy set up so brush up on your table etiquette i.e. Which fork to use when… Cheesecake was amazing as well

This was a memorable dining experience for all the wrong reasons. We ate here on Christmas Eve. The most disappointing part was the service. Our waitress was not on top of it. When I realized we were not going to be getting our second course(a salad) I didn’t say anything. When we got our check and saw we had been charge for our salads, plus a sliced up banana for our 7 month old daugther for $ 6!!!, we let our waitress know we never got the salads. She asked: «Are you sure?» She did take the salads off of the check, but for a holiday night and knowing you are going to spend a lot I wish the service was better.

Birthday celebration; we agreed to meet at Flatirons in Broomfield so I Unilocaled great restaurants. Got there at 11:30 and the place was very quiet! Just a few tables and a chance for my host and I to chat without the clatter and chatter. It filled up by noon but that’s because the food is great. Had a perfect Grey Goose martini and a top notch salad with lentils — plus gluten free bread. The dessert was an unexpected surprise — and it was de light flu!!!

I was a little disappointed in this restaurant. They are a bit high end for the their food to not taste good at all. I went for their Sunday brunch and didn’t care for the selection or quality of cuisine. They had an omelet station that looked pretty good but I was not in the mood for breakfast so I chose the prime rib and other lunch items. The meat was tasteless and their pasta was not good either. The only thing I feel like they did well was the service. They were on top of everything. They had a dessert bar that was made up of deserts that looked like grocery store items. Thankfully I didn’t have to pay for my meal, that would have really frustrated me. The Omni Hotel is very classy and I would expect their restaurant to do a little better than this. I will stay at the hotel again but will skip this restaurant.

–The complimentary jalapeño cheddar bread was served cold. It was not tasty. –The maine lobster potato aioli was delicious. I recommend it. –The diver scallops a la planche was recommended by the server. However, I did not enjoy it. The scallops were too bland. –Wild raspberry ale brined pork rib chop was delicious. It’s served with grits(but it was too bland for my taste) Photos posted.

Great for a business lunch. Excellent for a romantic or business dinner. I know, that sounds like a weird combination but I believe it can work either way. So far we’ve had one lunch and one dinner and the previews four and five star reviews appear to be right on the mark. Had the fillet of beef and the sea bass for dinner. Both were very well prepared, the beef easily scoring 10 stars out of 5 it was that good. Jeff, our waiter, was extremely knowledgeable and informative, taking just the right amount of time and maximum effort to explain everything on the menu we asked about. We were completely confident about what to order and the chef made our dishes exactly as described. That’s what I call a perfect dining experience. Haven’t tried the wines yet but they sure make a perfect Bloody Mary. The only disappointment so far was at our lunch when the toast accompanying one of our dishes arrived pretty much burned. For dessert we’ve had the chocolate bar and the fruit cobbler. Both were excellent, the chocolate bar being the most surprisingly so. We can’t wait to have the crème brûlée next time.

Wow, I highly recommend this restaurant. Our waiters name was Joey and he was very professional and had a lot of knowledge about the foods that were on the menu. After he described the dishes it made it really hard to choose. I ordered the bonein ribeye medium well with broccoli. It was the best ribeye I ever had. Every bite would melt in my mouth. This is more of an expensive place but totally worth it. I would recommend coming here for an anniversary date night.

There is something about having a Sommelier that knows what he is talking about as your waiter. Any question I had about region/flavor, etc he answered without hesitation. It was a wonderful way to start off our meal. He had a sense of humor, necessary for my husband and I while eating out. We started off with the board, meat, cheeses and some delightful fruit. Something for both of us to enjoy. The cheeses were amazing, I wish the person bringing out the dish knew the name of them. Then the salads. The Caesar was amazing. Perfectly spiced, and grapes with the salad? I had no idea the way they would accentuate the flavors. I will eat them with the salad forever more. Dinner, I had the scallops and my husband enjoyed the steak. The steak was perfectly cooked, however not the BEST steak we have ever had. My scallops were great. For a landlocked state, I couldn’t ask for better. I did not give this restaurant 5 stars, because the food was good for a hotel, but not great like you can have elsewhere, however the convenience of taking my wine back to my room, it was worth the extra star bringing it to a 4.

Solid restaurant with great selection of wines. I was not impressed with breakfast but all lunch and dinner selection I had were top notch and made me curious for more. If I could point out a dish that stood out it was the lamb chops. perfectly done and oh so delicious. For a quality food experience Meritage does the trick.

Actually left the resort one morning looking for a superior breakfast. Twas a mistake, had no idea Meritage was so nice. — Breakfast Sandwich one morning. Bad Ass! — Breakfast Burrito one morning, sucked and was dry. Tortilla was like cardboard and had no idea eggs could be so dry, tiny morsels of sausage were well hidden. — Event catering, world class pulled pork. — Wine tasting on Wed nights, semi top shelf, free, greater selection of cheeses. So yeah if you don’t wanna leave the resort, Meritage.
