BEWARE! Sid the owner is a liar! I had a direct vent heater that I needed to instal. He quoted me one price and then added a $ 400 line item for a base that he said needed to be installed so my house would not burn down. After the installation I asked about the base, and he said it was installed within the unit. I had two other contractors come and take a look; both said a base was not installed. When I called the manf. of the heater they said a «base» was not needed for wood. In fact, they had no idea what a base was. They recommend a metal plate at the bottom of the unit (for other flooring materials other than wood). I WOULD STAY AWAY. HE IS A THIEF.
