This place is AWESOME! Michelle and Shelly were super knowledgeable and helpful when I came in for some vegetable seeds and some annuals for a flower box. It’s really satisfying to have a family owned and operated business that cares in the neighborhood!

I’ve been impressed with Shelly’s over the past couple of years. The store is in good order and their staff is very attentive. I recently engaged their landscape contractor to bid a big job for us. He came out and explained some options, listened a lot, and offered to do a design plan for us. I’m excited about where this will lead, and will write another review once this concludes!

Shelly’s has been incredibly helpful every time I have visited, and now they always have the products I’m looking for.
I think the change over in ownership make it a little crazy when I first went. Sorry for the initial complaints Shelly’s! You’ve changed my mind! I’ll be coming back!

What an awesome experience at this garden shop! I had so much fun picking out succulents and pots today with the nicest lady, come to find out it was the new owner Shelly! I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, and she had some great ideas on pots and plant pairings. I told her my budget, and she helped me adjust my plant sizes to make it work.
When she noticed I wasn’t sure what to do, she asked about my décor and made recommendations on colors. She helped me pick just the right things for my tastes. Very very friendly and helpful. It’s obvious she genuinely loves what she does and loves working with people. Very knowledgeable too! Good luck finding a plant in that shop she can’t tell you all about at the drop of a hat!

Very knowledgeable staff that you can tell they love what they do. I love going there if I need an answer to a gardening issue. I’ve seen a huge improvement in the store since it changed ownership. Prices are comparable with other independently owned garden centers. I’ve actually found them to be less expensive in some instances. They don’t have big box store pricing which undercuts small businesses. What Shelly’s Garden Country does have is selection, quality, and the knowledge to go with it. I’ll keep coming back.

My wife and I started shopping here in the summer of 2013 new to the Broomfield area. Prices and selection are fair and the gardening advice has been very helpful! We have a large tree in our front yard that was killing the lawn with all the roots coming up, the gals made some good suggestions on how to get water down so the roots would go back down which saved my lawn and I’m thinking possibly my driveway that was starting to crack a little from the roots. We have 3 children who all ask to go to Garden Country because it seems they’re always doing something fun there. We will definitely continue to shop there.

I love Shelly’ s Garden Country and I have always had a wonderful experience at this garden center. Shelly and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and always friendly too me ! I think its wonderful Shelly took over this nursery. She is Awesome and I hope only the best for her and her staff :)

I bought 4 trees for $ 110 a piece and insured them. 3 died during the winter and when I tried to replace them last summer, they stalled and stalled until it was too late. This spring I STRONGLY insisted that they replace them, they were rude and unprofessional. Finally, they replaced the $ 110 trees with $ 70 trees. When I pointed that the trees were not of equal value they were rude and hung up on me. I will never, never go back there. Don’t believe what they say.
