Got awesome service from employee just last Tuesday. I think it was Kelly or similar name. She helped us get a stuck battery out of remote, gave us free battery replacement, and free plugs for air chambers because we are moving. Above and beyond service and we bought our bed 4 years ago. We still love our bed to this day and will buy from them again and appreciate the great service.

First, I want to say upfront that the Sleep Number bed did not end up working for me personally in the long run. But I am a very special case in that I’ve tried for over 2 years to find a bed that was comfortable, with no success. My husband slept fine in it and liked it. When I first came to this Sleep Number store, I was desperate to get some sleep; I was assured we would be able to find something that worked for us. We made a considerable investment in a Sleep Number bed, but part of the reason we did so is we were assured that they have an extremely high level of customer service, that they genuinely cared about their customers, and that we could get our money back if the bed didn’t work for us. So we felt comfortable that at least if the bed didn’t work for us, we would get our money back. Customer service at the store was great, and I actually really love their bedding and will probably continue to purchase that from them. They are very helpful in trying to analyze problems, and will let you try out any bed /pillow combination you want while in the store. Returns /exchanges were easy. When the store personnel couldn’t help you, you were told to call the Sleep Number hotline to work with specialists — and I did that for quite some time. They have almost an infinite amount of possibilities to try to help you get comfortable. Unfortunately, I have an SI joint issue, and any bed that sinks down at all in the middle will not work for me, which the sleep number bed does do when you make it «soft». When I made it hard enough that it didn’t do that, I started having neck /shoulder issues because I’m a side sleeper. So after trying the bed and various configurations for some time, I requested a refund. If you do have any problems with your bed, make sure you keep cognizant of the deadlines that they give you for returning the bed. Because I was working with the hotline, I didn’t really pay attention to it, and by the time I called I was a few days past my return deadline. Initially the store said they couldn’t return my bed because of that, but after speaking to a supervisor on the hotline and explaining my situation, they returned my bed in full and said there were no problems with doing that. Someone is coming to pick it up at no extra charge. So although the bed didn’t end up working for me personally, it still was a good experience and I had many recommendations from friends that they love their bed and couldn’t do without it. If you’re having a hard time finding a bed that works for you, it is probably worth trying. They do care about their customers and that they have a positive experience, which goes a long way in my book.
