Cream mints — we’d never had them before and now we’re in love! They are bite-​size (some big bite, some small bite) smooth but with a chew GF (gluten free) sweet treat which Christine, the owner, makes in a variety of shapes, with a variety of flavors. One of my children loved her root beer cream mints; another loved her cinnamints; my husband her spearmints, and I the buttercream flavor … Neither the root beer nor the buttercream were minuts — they were small sweet treats, but I think they’re just generically referred to as «cream mints.»
Christine knows how many to order per person, and that’s really dependent upon the shape and size of the mints, so I’m glad she has that rule of thumb, plus the patience to work with us while we figured it out! These would be perfect at a wedding or any kind of shower (bridal, baby) — those days are either way past for me or way in the future, so I used them at a party in bowls as sweet nibbles. They’re elegant enough they could be at a cocktail party, and I could see them, especially peppermints or spearmints (thinking of candy canes), being a huge hit at holiday parties …
