I would not recommend this place. Even with cheaper rates it’s not worth stopping here. Rooms need deep cleaning and updating. Ended up with bug bites on my ankles and woke up in the middle of the night swear something was crawling on my back. If you can go somewhere else it would be in your best interest to do so.

Upon trying to check in desk person encouraged me to go somewhere else because she did not want to find the fax number for the hotel so I could have my CLC number faxed. She was very rude, and huffed and puffed during the whole process of checking in. She could not provide me the hotels FAX number and I ask her to call her boss and find out, her reply was he never answers. She did finally call him and they did check me in after i lended her my iPhone to use the information that I needed to fax. Would not recommend this place for customer service to say the least As soon as I find another hotel that accepts CLC. I’m checking out.

Rickety old motel without many decent features. One of the locks on our door was broken and the lining around the bottom of the wall was coming off. The TV channel selection is pretty small. Overall it feels like they are okay with mediocre.

Our room was non smoking but smelled of sour old smoke. It was relatively clean with the exception of a used q-tip under the phone on the bedside table. The AC worked well and the bed was clean and comfortable. Hot water and cheap rates. All in all, it’s a good stay for the price!

Let me just tell you about the Super 8 motel. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had. We booked two rooms on Priceline and apparently they didn’t get the reservation. They said their internet was down and they didn’t get it. So we had to wait forever for the manager to actually come to the office before we could get it straightened out. That’s right, some one had to leave home and come to the motel. Onto the room, which was insanely cold. The heater barely made it warm enough to keep ice from forming. We booked these last minute and didn’t read very well, so I’ll take some responsibility for that. The room has neither a microwave or a fridge. It also has an old tube television with a picture so bad I thought I needed glasses. The room itself was clean, which is the only good thing I can really say about this place. It’s not worth the price, and hopefully you’ll be able to find something better by reading this warning.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review but I feel compelled to now. We chose this hotel because we came across a coupon offering an additional discount. Told them over the phone of the price while making the reservations and presented the coupon upon checkin yet we were still charged the regular price. A refund of the difference has to wait until the manager comes in tomorrow. We get into the room and it is almost as cold as it is outside. We couldn’t get the heat turned on fast enough. And it’s a nonsmoking room that reaks of smoke. We get settled and ready for bed. About to crawl in for the night we make a visit to the bathroom only to realize there is no shower curtain. Really? We call down to the front desk and are told they will let someone know. A few minutes later we get a call back letting us know we can come down to the front desk to get it. Seriously? We are in our pjs and now have to get dressed again, walk out into the snow around the exterior of the building to get to the front desk for a shower curtain that should have already been in our bathroom. I’m speechless. And definitely will not stay here again. I can’t leave this review without a rating so I am forced to give one star. This place is not worthy of one star. UPDATE: I have now left three messages for the manager with no return calls. I called again today and was hung up on. They are now not answering the phone. This is not the way to run a business and seems like an incredibly juvenile act. I am flabbergasted!

Ok, I’ve read the other reviews about this place, and I must have gotten lucky, here are my observations. Pro’s My room was clean with no smells, the bathroom was clean with good hot water, bed was firm which I like, heater worked well. Cons The place is older, heater worked well but was older and a bit noisy, TV is older tube set, not great picture but ok, wifi was not working, my room was clean but needed a deep cleaning. It was not a bad experience and I have stayed here 3 times over the past 2 years. Will I stay here again? Probably

The other reviewers aren’t kidding, this place is a dump. Our room looks to have been previously a victim of a car hitting the wall. There’s some sort of stain on the drapes, which we jokingly said must be from the car incident. Behind the door is a large cobweb and the door itself is covered in dirty handprints. The beds are hard as a rock and this is coming from someone who sleeps on a firm mattress at home. Expect lots of road noise as the motel is right next to the highway. The ac/heater looks to have seen better days, but the heat at least works. Some minor conveniences include a small fridge, micro, coffee maker, and small table. I’m not sure I’ll even be able to get any sleep tonight. I should of heeded the other reviews. Definitely not worth staying at!!!

From the air conditioner that is held together with duct tape to the chair that smells like dog food, this place is a dump. Not to mention the fact that even though there are plenty of vacant rooms, I get the one at the end that is next to Pepsi machine that blocks the window. What a lovely view.

If we weren’t trapped here by the falling snow and icy roads, I would have turned around right away for other choices. During a recent trip to visit family, we were forced to make a stop due to weather at this Super 8 Motel. We were welcomed to our room by a wide open room door. The room was open to the elements for who knows how long. It stayed around 40 degrees in there for a few hours despite us cranking up the heat. It turns out the door was jammed and has been so for a while by the look of the shiny, worn out door frame. When I requested a change of rooms, the attendant came upstairs to «show me how to close the door». He insisted he did not know about the problem and there were no more vacant rooms and there will be no refund. Our room was definitely a smoking room despite that futile, plastic non-smoking sign in the room. Although the room door has been wide open, the room still smelled like an ash tray. All of our clothes and luggage smelled like an ash tray the next day. This has to be the worst $ 70 I’ve ever spent. Needless to say, we hardly got any sleep that night. So don’t let the convenient location fool you, there are other, probably better choices just a few hundred yards down the road.
