Very poor customer service and office coordination. At my husband’s initial appointment at the Southgate office for cataract surgery, we were given a second appointment for measurements. This is standard practice for cataracts. However, we were told the surgery would be scheduled at that second appointment. Since they were currently scheduling surgeries for the week FOLLOWING our second appointment, it was obvious to me that it would be two months before my husband could have surgery. I saw no reason why we couldn’t schedule the surgery immediately, rather than wait for the second appointment, but I will never know because after repeatedly leaving requests for the surgical scheduler to call me, no one ever returned my calls.
Instead I phoned Castleman Eye Center, received an appointment for the following day, a measurement appointment for the day after that, and the surgery one week later.
I would never recommend Eye Clinics of Michigan to anyone!

I have been a regular patient of Dr. Gupta for several years, and his knowledge and demeanor is first rate. Today, I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Prashant Kapadia, who performed the most through annual eye exam that I have ever had. Why people go to the chain stores for eye care is beyond me. Great doctors and staff.
