It amazes me that a store this big doesn’t have what I need. Not only that, it’s nearly impossible to get help because the employees seem to scatter like cockroaches the moment you walk towards them. Yep, that’s right, you see an employee and as soon as you turn to ask for help, BAM, they’re gone. Just like that. We ended up going to three hardware stores in quick succession and this was the second stop. I kind of always thought that the big hardware stores were pretty much equivalent, but today I noticed some distinct differences. This one definitely seemed less organized than the others and the layout was inconvenient. We ended up walking all over the store just to find the two items on my list — spray paint and caulk. The checkout lanes were on the other end of the store and then most were self-checkout at that. Maybe I’m a little old-fashioned or something, but it’s kind of nice to be able to deal with a real person. It was raining when we got there and we had to park on one side of the store then exit on the other side of the store. Since there wasn’t any kind of overhang connecting the entrance and exit, we ended up going back inside and walking all the way back to the other side to exit. Overall, it was just a really inconvenient trip!!!
