I had a Pioneer touch screen installed in my 2006 toyota Tundra to replace the factory stereo. I called prior to going to Highway sound to see if they could install it. The guy on the phone(can’t remember his name) seemed really knowledgeable and he was pleasant. I made the appointment and had the stereo installed for $ 100. So what do you get for $ 100 at highway sound… You get a half ass install job. yep, Half ass work. Every time I start my truck and the radio comes on, I get an error message because the stereo was not installed correctly. I get a «connection issue» error every single time. Not only does this distract me if I’m already driving but it’s inconvenient to have to hit the clear message to be able to change stations or play a CD. I called the next day after the install and asked to get this resolved and was told there is nothing that they would do to get it fixed. Which I’m calling BS on because the stereo error message says it’s not hooked up correctly. I’d look for another install shop to get work done before spending $$$ at this place.
