It was clean. Bear bones place to sleep. Not a bargain. They did have WiFy, micro wave, a refrigerator along with ironing board and iron. It is in a good spot it just needs a little bit of love and care. AND a course in customer service . They do not have a soda machine nor do they sell or offer water. Go to Costco and buy a flat of water you make more money than you get for the room, of corse that would require customer service. Rates are not cheap!

The price is right at this basic no frills motel. I booked way in advance but it was something like $ 44 a night! Hello! Room was aged but very clean and has a mini fridge. Not a place to hang out, but fine to come back and sleep. Housekeeping was responsive and did a good job vacuuming and cleaning during our stay. Easy to check in and check out and front desk staff was very nice. I have a few gripes: –snow plow, which was desperately needed, came around at like 4am and so did the ice scraping and it was loud and woke us up –no hot water one morning! Which was odd because there was only 5 people checked into

Not sure where to begin. Rooms are clean. Staff is nice. But the whole place is weird. The breakfast in the lobby has issues. The milk was over two weeks expired, the juice was about to be expired, and nobody seemed to care about it. When they replaced the milk, it was already two days expired. Not sure what to think about this place. I guess it is what you pay for.

I didn’t expect much, and got less. The room wasn’t particularly clean, the woman at the counter was surly, The motel looks like the place men stay when their wives kick them out, but because it’s in, you know, Maine, it was mostly old people, bikers, and me. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is it cost about the same as some fantastic B&Bs. If the room was $ 30/night, okay I’ll deal with other people’s hairs in the bed /sink. Pros were free wi-fi, and no crimes witnessed during my stay.

This Motor Lodge is basically a stopover, a place to stay and rest and run away the next day. –Rates were good –Rooms were decent, kinda getting into the old side –Service Desk person was friendly. The door on the room that we had, had quite a large gap where you could feel the cold air come in. Luckily the heater fought off the cold. The free breakfast was little bits of pasties, cereals, juice. Things that you would find at a cheap friends house. The price /quality ratio was what keeps me from going lower then a 3-star.

Formerly called the Maine Line Motel, I’m sad that they changed the name. They lost a star for that! Clean rooms, cheap rates, mini-fridges for brew dogs, and tv’s for watching tv. Right across the street from Uncle Tom’s Market. What more do you want really? Explore beautiful coastal Maine on the cheap!
