I always ask to see a room before I check in. There was a rude clerk at the desk on Mon 2÷22÷16 at 8:45pm.(manager on duty was«Yogesh»). She quoted me a room rate over the phone. I came in 5 minutes later to book it, but I asked to see the room before checking in. The lady refused to let me see the actual room unless I actually checked in. WTF? I have never had an issue with checking a room before slapping down my credit card. Then the lady began emoting. Like putting her hand on her head in disbelief. Like she couldn’t believe I was asking such a thing… Like it was a major upheaval in her life. So unprofessional… She was relieved when I said I wasn’t interested and turned to leave. Probably should have asked to see the manager. Sign said manager on duty was«Yogesh.» The clerk did not have a name tag, but when I asked if her name was Yogesh, she said her name was NOT Yogesh… Who knows if she was telling the truth. Picking a motel when you get tired on the road isn’t quite the easiest task in the world. You never know what to expect. All you really want is it comfortable bed some quiet privacy in a good nights rest so you can get back on the road. I have to hand it to Sleep Inn & Suites. Not that we needed it but there was a microwave refrigerator a flat screen TV. The room was very nice and modern there were no problems with the bathroom either. Unfortunately we were just off and intrastate trying to get some sleep so we could get home the next day. I must say we had a very restful evening and the beds had the quilted pillow top and were very very nice to sleep in. Hotel was clean an up to date. Prices were right and they had a triple a discount. In the morning they offer a hot and cold breakfast buffet which includes make-your-own waffles biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs. They had all kinds of Danish bagels muffins. Of course there was cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, Dave and had cream cheese for your bagel and peanut butter if you wanted to put it on your toes to get more protein. In the refrigerated section I even found peeled hard boiled eggs which of course is a great protein snack. Purchase picking and choosing with the help of my Unilocal application I was quite pleased with the Sleep Inn & Suites. Quality, price, service, breakfast, the rooms and the bed was so very comfy after a long day of travel. Sleep Inn & Suites will remain on my list of places to look for when I am on a road trip. What’s a girl to do? Well one you always rely on your Unilocal app to help you make important decisions.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The price was very fair compared to other hotels nearby. Very convenient right off I-95 about ¼ mile off exit 38. There was a hot breakfast that started at 6:00 a. m it was very good and also included cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc etc etc. I would stay here again.

Overall very pleased. Good things; close to grocery store and food and bar, facility was clean, free hot or cold bfast that was yummy with several options. Pool was small but seemed nice. Bad things; room had shower only, no tub, perhaps ours was handicap room(?), room décor didn’t match and was dated but seemed clean. That’s about it! Would definitely return next trip.

Room was clean, bed was comfy and having a grocery store nearby was nice to have for getting a salad for dinner. Big con was the breakfast. The coffee was literally transparent; one must have at a hotel is decent coffee in the morning. Milk for the cereal was semi warm. Towels on the thin side. I would stay here again, but go elsewhere for breakfast as we had to do.

I’ve stayed at this Sleep Inn probably 20+ times in the last year as I travel to Brunswick often. My last experience at this motel though has forced me to write this review, my 1st on this site. Pros: Convenient location, fast internet, refrigerator in room, lots of sports channels on tv. Cons: Mattress stiff as a board, rude customer service associates. This morning I called the front desk and spoke with Lisa to ask for a late checkout. She told me that a late checkout was not available to me as I was not a choice rewards member. Now I’ve stayed at probably 20 different hotels, including this location and don’t believe I have ever been denied a late checkout. Also, the hotel couldn’t have been at even 50% capacity based on the number of cars in the parking lot. When I told Lisa that I was rushing to pack and asked what would happen if I was still packing after 11 she replied, «Sir, if you’re still here after 11 I can charge you for another night». Ok. I’ve dealt with Lisa many times in the past and while I found her rude when she complained about giving me extra towels or uncooperative when I inquired why my debit card was charged for incidentals when nothing was broken, dealing with her today really rubbed me the wrong way. Her telling me she ‘can’ charge me implies that she didn’t have to and that not allowing me to pack without rushing was entirely her decision, rewards member or not. I was ready to just write it off until I told my girlfriend about it this morning. She told me that she also had to deal with a rude front desk member when she came through the lobby on Wednesday night. She said she walked past a male front desk agent, who I assume was Kieth, and smiled at him and he neither returned her smile or said hello as she passed. I believe the staff at this Sleep Inn needs to be reminded that they are in the business of customer service. I would expect this kind of assistance at the DMV but certainly not in the hospitality industry. With over 30 hotels in the Golden Isles, the guest has many choices when it comes to finding a place to lay their head. I found it ironic that the day before and after Thanksgiving these employees were ungracious to the very guests who ensure their employment. I plan to give this hotel another chance due to its location and room amenities but I will not hesitate to take my money elsewhere if I or anyone in my party is treated as if we are inconveniencing the staff there in the future. On the other hand, the cleaning staff was very nice as they were smiling and said hello each time I walked past. Perhaps they should be the ones working the front desk.

Can’t say anything bad about this place, went to all the of the local chains and did not want to spend that much money for the night so we tried it, it was in the $ 80 dollar range rather then &125−150 for the same things, it was clean, comfortable, everyone was friendly, rooms had all the same amenities as Hampton Inn, Also a free breakfast, that would be the only down side of the whole place is the breakfast is a little on the weak side but it still is free
